No Accountability....

I visit Circle G very often, in fact 4 out of 6 meals I have while in the area working I have at this location. The other day I had a HM Cheeseburger and home cut fries. The meat was awful tasting and I didn't eat all of it but did eat the fries.

This sort of confused me cause normally everything is good. So when paying my meal ticket at the register the young woman asked how was my meal. I replied the burger sucked. Her reply was "sorry" (nothing more like what was wrong etc.) and then started punching the cost on the register and told me the cost. I asked "Your charging me for the burger?", "Yes I have to". I replied "Really?". "Yes I have to charge", I asked "Is the manager around?", "Nope not here", "Is there a manager to call/", "Nope he doesn't want us to call". Now I not complaining about the fact of 8 dollars, but the fact that I was treated as just a person with money and no matter what they served you are going to pay. The customer's satisfaction is not important. If you are going to run a business and you ask "How was your meal?" do expect someone to tell the truth. If your not going to like the reply, then don't ask.

In short No Accountability of...

Ok, This place is in the small town of Poth, you wouldn't think it would be a hopping busy location, but it was. Sunday morning 11:30am there wasn't a seat to be found and it was seat yourself. When we did get a table we had to sit at an uncleaned table and wait about 20 mins for someone to even notice. A little lady came by cleaned it and then it took another 10 mins before a waitress came by with chips/salsa menus, and got our tea order. (Hence only 4 stars). When we left at almost 1:00pm the place had already started to die down and there were free tables. After you eat you have to stand in another line to pay. The food however, man was it good!!! I got the cowboys plate. 2 enchiladas with beef fajita on top, rice & beans. The beans have really good flavor, and the fajita yummy. I definitely plan to go back, but next time may try to hit it up during the week or after their church/morning rush. Waitress we had seemed annoyed and not very friendly, but I'm sure she was just trying to keep up with all the crazy going on with so many people. Overall, good food, busy Sunday morning. Oh and they do have breakfast that I hear...

I truly hate to share a bad review about any restaurant the outside of this restaurant and inside was very nice great looking place .... BUT... We visited this place on a Friday night an hour and 30 minutes before they closed... We said it our table nearly 20 minutes before anyone ever got to us we ordered tea it took another 15 minutes to get our tea.... In about another 20 minutes the waitress come by and ask did we need any more time to order 25 minutes later we got our food so we're four of us one got their food the second one got their food the third one was 15 minutes later my plate was 10 minutes after that I have to say I'm a very good tipper by tip very well if my waitress is any way possible good I'll have to say I did not leave them a good tip and I apologize for giving this restaurant a bad review it was not good at all the food was pretty good... Thank you...

The food is great here! They have a menu with a wide selection which should accommodate different appetites. Their breakfast tacos are large and very generously filled. The owners are such a kind family working in the kitchen or out in the dining room visiting with their many regular customers. I had the pleasure of working there in high school and we had people that came in every day, the retirees and farmers always talking about how much rain they got. Circle G has been in business since around 1975. What started as a small family run restaurant has grown into a 2 story building with a private dining room for about 75 people and upstairs dining area possibly for meetings or a party that would be semi private. All around great place to eat, lots of friendly people and family atmosphere.

Hot sauce is not very spicy, but everything else was perfectly cooked. I enjoy their tripas. My husband likes their Mexican plate. We usually pick up some peanut brittle by the payment counter. Great atmosphere and staff was very friendly, even though we didn't see our waitress after our order. Our order was also delayed. We almost left, but then finally saw our order. It was not crowded when we went, Saturday at 11:30.

French toast was basically just toast. The cook attempted to put powdered sugar on the toast but failed miserably. No cinnamon, no egg, literally just toast. Sausage was way overcooked. Dam near jerky. Service was 4 stars, only problem i had was it seemed like the servers didn’t really care how the food was made. They did replace it tho. Have been here before and the food was great so maybe they just had a bad day.
