Harps Food Stores — Local services in Prairie Grove

I called ahead asking if I could give away free kittens in the parking lot. I was put on hold until the manager got on the line to tell me “yes, as long as I do it in the grass.” About twenty minutes later, the police came by and informed me that I must leave per management. I politely picked up everything and went inside to ask why I was given permission, then had the police called on me. It turns out that the one manager gave me permission had misinformed me. That was not a problem. However, The attitude of Cindy and even Chris, was very poor and inconsiderate. Neither one of them apologized or even came out to ask me and my family to leave. I wish I could write a good review but not this time. Overall, the store is good but hardly ever does someone say hi like the commercial says. Anyway, the deli serves good food and the bad part is when you take it to the counter to pay for it. This has happened several times and I called and asked the manager on duty to ask them not to turn these food trays on the side to put them in a bag. The manager didn't seem very upset about it and didn't even apologize. I tried to tell the cashier to not bag this item but I was too slow. Funny thing is I was talking to the person at the deli about this happening and she said, it doesn't happen here. How...

Usually this is a nice place to grab a couple things to avoid having to drive to Walmart. However, the last 3 times I’ve bought meat from here I’ve opened the package and it’s been spoiled meat that fills the whole house with a rancid meat odor. I’ve also been in the store when other customers were discussing the same issues of spoiled meat with employees. If you’re going to be buying meat from here, I would not. If it’s the only option, get a good whiff first. Harps is supposed to have good meat but that don’t matter if I vomit every time I open a package of it. Please fix this.

Other than that, never really have any problems with customer service...
