If I could give these rude very disrespectful/ungrateful people a lower rating I would do so. Rented a floor sander from them. $34, that wasnt bad for that. They sent us with a box full of sand paper sheets. They said they supposedly counted the sheets of sand paper before I walked out the door with the box. When I bring the box back, whatever we use out of the box is what we get charged for. Not bad. Bring the box back and the sander, they said we used 20 sheets of sand paper. Mind you, the rooms we did were SMALL. We only used 6 sheets. 6 sheets only! They charged us for the 20 sheets and it was $77.13. I TRIED telling them we will bring the sheets of paper we used, to prove we didnt use 20 sheets. The total for 6 sheets shouldve only been $23 and like 14 cents. But these people didnt want to listen to anything I had to say. All they had to say was that we stole some sand paper sheets. Why??!! Why would we steal sand paper sheets when we dont have a sander at all!!! They repeated that they have security cameras but would never look at the footage to see if the box was actually counted cause I KNOW it was NOT counted in front of me at all. As a customer I shouldnt have to pay for their inventory being off, they should KNOW how to run their store. I STRONGLY reccomend you dont shop at this ace hardware unless you enjoy being treated like dirt and getting your money stolen from you. I know I dont. My daughters 1st birthday party was the day of them stealing my money. They're VERY ungrateful and RUDE. LETS CLOSE THE DOORS OF THIS ACE HARDWARE! Nobody likes getting their hard earned money stolen from them cause the owners of a store dont know how to run...

I found this store a couple of months ago. I absolutely love the store although they never really seemed friendly or even if they cared if you came in or not. Of course, I am not from the area and if I was, it could be different. Either way, I am not interested in shopping in a "clannish" store. Finally today, I have had enough! I filled out the paperwork to purchase a firearm last Friday (one week ago). I called to check on it 3 days later, Tuesday (the waiting period). The lady explained that I could pick the gun up on Friday. I called Friday morning. The guy said that I could come pick it up now. I drive over there. After waiting around a while, the guy said that he sold that gun on Saturday (the day after I was originally there and filled out the paperwork). He said, "sorry" and shrugged his shoulders. I said, "that's all you have to say?" He shrugged his shoulders again as in he has nothing more to say. This experience re-interrated my original feeling of he couldn't careless if he has my business or not. Or even if he had inconvenienced me or not. RUDE! I can find a better hardware store...

I have always gone out of my way to support local businesses. What was suppose to be an exciting purchase for myself. Turned into the worst purchase I have ever experienced! After saving for months to buy my new chainsaw, blower and weedeater. I chose ACE. I got the blower and chainsaw, but they would order the weedeater I wanted. I decided I could not use these without getting upset every time I picked up, for thinking of the RUDENESS I TOLERATED, I went to return them, and was met at the door, saying no returns, it's been started and has fuel in them. THEY DID THAT, NOT ME!! I have both for sale, because I do not want the reminder of this horrible, unappreciative place!! I even paid cash! I will continue to buy local, NOT HERE! So many stores that go out of their way to have you...
