I went to Lauren for nano-brows. My experience was exceptional from first interaction to post procedure. I have a long history of over plucking my eyebrows and have been looking at permanent makeup options such as microblading for some time now. At 50, I find my needs changing and was interested in a more natural look. I wished to be makeup free at times. This is not possible when I couldn’t replicate natural eyebrows without an entire makeup look (not that talented). My prior consultation with a different business left me feeling uncertain as to the whether the person “heard” me when I explained my desired result. They pushed for a powdered brow look that I now understand wasn’t what I’d asked for. I’m so grateful that my gut stopped me from doing this. Once she began the procedure, I did fall asleep and found the pain to be limited to some mild stinging at the completion and this due to wiping over the tattoo. My skin type is sensitive and prone to bruising. I had no problems post procedure. There was mild to minimal swelling just immediately following the procedure that subsided by the time I arrived home. I’ve been wanting to get my brows done for about 5 years but I never pulled the trigger. I couldn’t find an artist I loved, and I didn’t want to regret getting them done. I started seeing Lauren’s work on our community page and I loved what I saw! I made an appointment and had to wait nearly 4 months, but finally the day came!

At my appointment, she gave me a thorough consultation. I mentioned wanting my brows to look natural. (I had verrrry sparse brows, but usually filled them in.) I only wear makeup twice-ish a week so I wanted to look like I had normal eyebrows when I wasn’t wearing a full face.

When she was done, I tried to look happy but was I internally freaking out. They looked so huge and dark, I was terrified. They looked darker the next day and I was thinking “what the hell did I do?!” After a few days they got a little lighter, and I started getting used to having eyebrows. My eyebrows were so sparse to begin with, I wasn’t used to seeing myself with them.

After about 10 days and they had healed, I was in freaking love. I have never felt more beautiful. I feel like a freaking supermodel with NO makeup on because of how much I love my brows. They give my face so much shape, and my self confidence has gone through the roof. They look so natural, the color completely matches my natural hair color and every hair stroke looks like God himself put it there.
