We usually get our drinks and sandwiches from this establishment, but the last 2 times we went, service was pretty minimal to almost nonexistent. My family & I walked in around 10 am & to our surprise, nothing was available as far as their breakfast sandwiches were concerned and we were told they had Gouda sandwiches left and then, told there were none. It was pretty disappointing since they had nothing available from their breakfast menu at all. We decided to just purchase drinks and when they called my name to pick up our drink order, I noticed there were only three drinks, so I simply asked if they were still working on my son's hot cocoa to make sure one was ordered and the lady simply looked with an attitude and said she was still making it. Not once has anyone apologized for not having food available from their menu and no one was accommodating or welcoming in any way. Management should have made sure of inventory since there were no breakfast sandwiches at all and we got there at 10 am. When it was Cafe de Arte, service was great, but now service has declined in my opinion. I'm truly disappointed by the experience, especially being in a nice growing community and now that the establishment has grown its services to a wine/tapas bar as well. Honestly, an apology for running out of everything from their breakfast menu or a simple smile/thank you would've sufficed and I would've given them another chance before posting a review. Management should work on training their employees to become service friendly & I hope positive...

The atmosphere is nice, almost a little formal (not sure if that's good or bad as it gives me a slight feeling of anxiety walking in as I'm not sure if I should be there or not). It's a good meeting place, but at the same time, it's a popular place which makes it VERY busy at times and too loud to meet with people or work on a project in silence or low noise. The food is alright. Not anything absolutely glamorous, but better than most stuff in the area and I'm sure it changes by season. I appreciate the variety of food that they have, but the prices are a bit hard to swallow which makes me hesitant to come out sometimes. I enjoy the seating arrangements. There's a variety of them. The ease of being able to clean up your area with the supplies available is a nice touch. I enjoy that a lot. Sometimes it can be overly bright in the store and dark in one specific corner, almost too dark, but I appreciate it for what it is.
For what I believe could be improved is something I don't think is necessarily feasible and I wouldn't sweat it. The outlet locations. It's a bit of a difficulty finding one and if they're all taken up, I don't even bother to sit down. I come out here to do work, so it's definitely not a casual...
Read moreI ordered two coffees and a bread. After a short wait, the coffees were ready. I mentioned to the staff that I was still waiting for the bread, and they told me it would be ready on the other side of the counter. I moved over and waited a bit longer, thinking they were warming up the bread or that other food orders were backed up. There was no one else in line waiting for food or drinks at the time.
After about 5-10 minutes, the cashier simply took the bread out of the display case and handed it to me without saying a word. I was frustrated. Why did she make me move to the other side and leave me waiting that long if she could have just handed it to me earlier—even before the coffees were ready? Not even a simple “sorry”? I would have understood if she had said, “Sorry, I forgot.”
I was also considering buying a bag of beans if I liked the coffee, but another staff member responded to my inquiry with an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering them. They seemed friendly to their regulars, but maybe not to everyone else.
Having worked in the service industry, I don’t consider myself a difficult customer. Unfortunately, I won’t...
