It's a lovely setup they've got. A quiet place with plenty of shade from the trees makes it a pleasant location. Unfortunately, the prices the vendors are asking are beyond outrageous so we bought nearly nothing.
A loaf of jalapeño cheese bread was $13! A pack of 8 tea cakes was $15! The vendor selling "cracklin" was instead selling pork rinds he was passing off as cracklin. The Red Stick Market in downtown Baton Rouge is much better. They're still overpriced but it's not painfully expensive like the vendors at Riverside. We left quickly.
