WARNING to those interested in consigning here: This review is not to reflect the buying experience, but the consigning experience. I took some items into consign recently and simply asked the gals working in the shop if I could write down what items I was leaving with them for my own personal records, since they do not provide the consignee an itemized account (which I was fine with). They reluctantly allowed me to quickly write down what I was consigning with them, which maybe took me all of 5 minutes. I get a call a few days later from one of the ladies in the shop that they need me to come back and pick my items up, as they are not okay with me trying to keep track of what I have consigned and I assume at the end of my consignment term they did not want me come back and pick through their racks to find whatever I had consigned that did not sell. I have consigned at a number of other consignment shops and have never had an experience like this before. I will also add that all of my conversations with these ladies were friendly. Just be forewarned, if you expect to get you items that did not sell back, you should definitely not consign here. Came back because the lady was so nice out of good faith to sell and when I did not bring my clothes in on hangers she promptly told me to read the instructions on the table and told me they donât take things without hangers (god forbid, there arenât like 100s of hangers behind the counter and most of my stuff was jeans) and as I was trying to read her 2 full pages of instructions that arenât anywhere but on that counter she asked me to leave with my stuff because I was in the way of the other people. JAW DROPPED, Iâve never been so ashamed to support a small business. I would advise others to think before they come...
Read moreLove this thrift shop! With a family of 5 and 3 being children who outgrow clothing quickly. Itâs so nice to have a option of bringing in clothes to make a profit on while also able to shop for replacement items. Itâs a much easier way to get rid of our clothing versus selling it on FB marketplace and doing awkward meet ups. They do have specifications for the items you bring in so make sure to read that as they donât take just anything. Clothing is of nice to brand new quality which is reassuring when also purchasing items. Staff of super friendly and welcoming and has a bubbly...
