Tropical Village Farm — Local services in Princeton

Went in today with wife, mother and my toddler. We ordered the "completas" cordero al vino, puerco asado, tamales, chicharrones somes juices. This was today sunday at 3pm. Food arrived fast, cordero al vino was extremely heart attack salty that i couldnt eat it,told my mother to try it and said the same thing. I have never returned food at a restaurant but today was the first time ,i told my mother " no importa se la llevo a mis perros" but she said no,its bad and let me go ahead and exchange it. So she went over and told the elder lady in front and apparently she kinda of got upset and i went over and told her "esta demasiado salado,no se puede comer" she took the food away with an attitude by this time i just told the young sweet girl to give me the bistec and she brought it to my table... i just couldnt eat the food, neither did my mom or wife and my wife is cuban and said "this is the worst cuban food i ever had" and she was right. We felt bad since we really wanted to like the place but it didn't deliver. Arroz con moros was dried,tamal was not good,chicharrones were extremely oily and i know they should but this was way over the norm. I gave it one star cause the tamarindo juice was ok but even my lemonado was pure crush iced, I literally had 3 sips and it was gone... all ice... I ended up packing all the food and gave it to my four dogs, tomorrow I will see if they survived. We planned on buying frutas,biandas and more but our experience was so bad that I just couldn't give more money to this business. I wish them luck and hopefully they can taste their food before serving...

Service was terrible. They were so incredibly rude for no reason. We ordered two batidos de mango (mango shake) and they gave us a mango juice. I went up and and said hey we actually ordered the shakes not the juice they took them back and called me over to ask for the name, they proceeded to call me back over twice looking for the receipt order to tell me no it says right here juice and I said that's not what I ordered just because that's what you put. They told me that is what I ordered and that I ordered it wrong. I said I had literally just ordered one and this was the second order and the first one was just fine so clearly it was them that misheard. Honestly they even had my husbands name on the order wrong so clearly they are not paying attention. At that point I didn't even understand what the back and forth was for clearly a mistake was made and they didn't want to correct it so I just simply asked for a refund. Its evident they do not care for their customers because it was honestly so unprofessional and unnecessary. As we finished the rest of our food we continued to get nasty looks from the staff. The food was okay but there are plenty of places like this in the area that offer great food...

We stopped by here on the way home from the keys. They make the smoothies fresh and it's delicious and refreshing. I wish I ordered their food too. We were just curious as to what fruits they have available. Most of the fruits were overripe though so we couldn't bring it with us. They also have a fridge full of desserts They have snacks as well. My kids love the koi pond. They also have a playground but it was too hot for the kids to play in it. We also checked out the farm animals. Restrooms...
