Ochoco Plaza — Local services in Prineville

Our main go to place to get most everything we need in town. However, there's been several times, just in past 2 months, that we've encountered people hanging around outside stores and in parking lot, even in the bushes. People are appearing to be under the influence of something. Sometimes people are having a very public disagreement. Some of the people we've encountered include a woman who'd lost her phone in bushes where she'd passed out and asking people who were going in our coming out of store, people who are begging for rides, asking to use our phone, people who are not entirely clothed (we go to this shopping area probably twice, maybe sometimes 3 times a week, it's not like we're there every day or night, and we don't linger), etc. This added to the many, many syringes found around parking lot and bushes and walk ways in the last year. I don't want my adult children going there after dark. I feel like they're be safer being outside the bar downtown at 1 in the morning on a night where there's a rodeo in town. There definitely needs to be more police presence. And, the employees of the stores really need to start asking people to stop begging. To stop loitering. To stop doing drug deals, and to stop actually doing drugs on this property. It shouldn't cause fear if I've got to grab a gallon of milk at 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening. And, people to call the police when this is going on. From what I've seen, employees just try to stay away from it...

If I could give Rite Aid zero stars I would. This store is a joke. None of the Customer Service Reps are in a hurry for anything. When I walked in a man was standing at the check out register no help in sight. I perused the store and finally a clwk came to help moving at the pace of molasses in January. They d idnt have what I wanted but coukd not find a clerk to assist me. So I decided to pick up a couple of Snowmen figurines that were on sale, at least make it worth my time. There was a man in front of me and the clerk was trying to help. But the song on the over head speakers must have been her favorite because she was dancing. Listen honey this ain't no disco and you certainly are NOT a Dancing Queen. So if you want to shop in a last rate store that has no desire to help you shop there. I suggest Redmond or Bend. I suggest Wal Mart move in and force Rote Aid to close their doors. Rite Aid don't shop there spend your hard earned money on a store that...

Wanted to get some chicken from the deli and the gal wasn't sure cause they where limited on food so she was asking so I told her never mind I would find something else I only wants to get my no yes worth and all they had was thighs and legs. As k was walking up the aisle the manager was talking very rudely about me and called me a snotty twit...if I could have fired her right there and then I would have. She wasn't in the deli and did not know what I had asked but my inconvenience to her was apparently the wrong question to ask. If I didn't live in tbis aide if town I would not go into rays but every time I see her a get irritated and want to so a citizens fire an employee for being rude. Without us your store wouldn't be...
