I normally don't do reviews at all but I had to express the disappointment in my first experience here. My 5 year old daughter has wanted to do cheerleading for a while and I thought this place would be perfect seeing how close to our house it was and mostly good reviews so I signed her up for a trial class. When we arrived, I introduced ourselves and said we were there for a trial class which i was then told I needed to fill out the release form which I already had done and then she preceded to answer the phone telling me to wait. The other front desk lady was super nice and verified the release form was completed and took us to where we needed to go and was told at the end of the class the instructor would come talk to me about how she did and if she liked it, we could sign up at the front desk for the class. I watched the entire class and the instructors hardly smiled and showed zero enthusiasm in the class. It honestly came off that they were annoyed they had to do the 4 and 5 year old class instead of the more advanced classes. At the end of class, my daughter found me and the instructor saw me with my daughter but turned away and both of them vanished so no update as to how she did in the class (which i tood myself whatever, my daughter said she liked it and seemed to enjoy herself). I then walk up to the front desk to talk to them about signing up and waited for them to finish their conversation with someone else and that same dismissive front desk lady just told me to sign up online even though I was told in the beginning I could do it there. I wanted to like this place because I saw my daughter already make a friend in the class but how can someone want to join when the front staff is dismissive and the instructors look like they could care less about being there. I do want to say thank you to the one front desk lady that was actually nice and helpful and just wish more of the staff had the same enthusiasm as her. I have also decided to include a screenshot of an instructor on their phone during the class to show part of the...
Read moreI ultimately am very disappointed that I’m even having to write this review…i spent 9 years there as a kid and teenager competing. It was so great back then! I hadn’t been back until today so I could let my 4 year old take a “free” trial class. I wanted her to see if she liked it compared to her previous sport, soccer. Upon arriving, I didn’t feel overly welcomed in by the front desk staff. Definitely not the same warm and friendly energy they used to have from Mrs. Cathy way back when. During the class, my daughter was told multiple times by a young blonde “coach” to “just stand and watch” another classmate and then try to try the skill…. the coaches were acting as if she knew what she was doing by not offering assistance first. She appeared blatantly annoyed having to help her. She did not smile. She was not encouraging. She was impatient and spoke to her in a rude tone. She is 4 and this is her first time even trying a back bend. I can understand competitiveness getting older and being more serious, but this was for fun… she did not have fun. In fact, she asked to go to a different...
Read moreMy wife paused(for the summer, as we did plan on coming back in the fall) Stella's class until the school year started back up in the fall. You continued charging our credit card because of your "policy." You did not reach out with any resolution, nor did you try and work it out. You just wanted the end result to get more money in your pocket.
I had a "policy" as well when I had over 100 clients as a tennis pro in Highland Park, but I also understood the value of a relationship over money and policies. Choosing relationships over money was seen as more valuable to my clients, thus awarding me more referrals and clients.
It's clear to me you do not value relationships, just money based on your policies.
Who's wants insincere staff and coaches that only care about money, influencing their kids?! No parent in...
