Literally unbelievable prices. The selection may be hit or miss, the boxes and cans may be damaged, some of the stuff may be out of date, and more; but all of that had to be put aside for the sheer savings you can achieve at this place.
Especially look out for their chips, snacks, cookies, and snack cakes as most of that stuff is just as new as the stuff in every other store just less than half price! Be sure, also, to poke your head into the walk in freezer where they frequently have bulk restaurant supply bags such as : church's chicken, BK chicken fries, and other cool stuff. Turkey Hill products are also about 40% off retail here and they are as fresh as any other store.
The random non-food items are cool as well and you can often find batteries, toilet paper, detergent, soap, cleaning supplies, paper towels, and other household items ridiculously cheap. Sometimes 80% off retail or more.
Don't let the seemingly random stock of products keep you away, or the old sell-by dates, or the damaged boxes. If you dig around here, there is substantial money to be saved.
A lot of the reviews are out of date on here. They now accept credit, debit, cash, and check. They have also installed proper lights (LED) so they can be open past dark (usually closing at 8). Lines can get long, but it's not for lack of staff merely it's a very popular and busy place. Average wait time for me when they are busy with a cart full of groceries is about 4 minutes. It's best to park your cart somewhere and make shopping trips with baskets as the aisles are narrow and there...
Read moreI absolutely ADORE this store. It was such a rush to get such good deals and quality produce. Most of the stuff that i saw wasn't expired and it had a wide variety of brands. We live pretty far away so we weren't able to get anything cold but we were able to stock are pantry. We had an overflowing cart and spent less then $140. And that included detergent and Degree brand deodorant for $1.50, which my sister says is normally close to $5. I know its weird to say but we picked up fresh broccoli there for $.49 lb and it was the best tasting broccoli we ever had. Also had the best spice section I've ever seen. They had one giant section of generic and on the other side of the aisle was a variety of name brands. The store was very clean and well organized and the workers were very nice and got me another cart when i was bagging groceries. Overall i will definitely be coming back every few months to stock...
Read moreI was happy with my BB's trip! It's a clean and friendly environment. Their slogan is bents, bumps, & bunch[es] of bargains. If you're okay with a dent-n-bent place and some expired items it's a goldmine. I only bought things that expired 2 months ago which were like salad dressing and shelf stable snacks. It's the perfect place to try a variety of new things for a bargain.
However, there are a few items dating back as far as 2020. So give plenty of extra time to check expiration dates if that matters to you.
