I run a business, most of the packages I order for both customers and personal get sent to the business. Our business hours are clearly posted on the door. FOR WHATEVER REASON, the delivery person's for this company cannot seem comprehend what business closed mean. It means DON'T LEAVE PACKAGES OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR OR ANYWHERE ELSE AROUND THE BUILDING!! Business closed means redeliver on the next business day. And because it's a business, there's a reception area, where EVER OTHER DELIVERY DRIVER BRINGS THE PACKAGES TO. For reference, were on a busy street, 50k cars drive past us daily in addition to the people walking by. I cannot fathom how this simple understanding of how to do your job can't be done correctly. Tried calling the customer support number, no matter what button you press it just eventually hangs up on you. I've emailed support about placing a business hours delivery notice for my address to prevent a future issue, but I've yet to hear back and wouldn't be surprised if I don't hear anything back about this problem. Let a high value package go missing and I'm sure they're not going to like paying out on a claim. Nobody wants that, not myself or a customer who's waiting for a particular product. I can only hope this review actually gets some resolution not only for myself, but the other persons as well who are also affected by the neglegent delivery drivers and/or delivery company that is better trucks.
Updates.... Going to keep adding to this every time a delivery happens when we're closed. The day after this review, 2 customers sat outside waiting for us to open, a woman pull up, and unloads 5 packages and leaves them outside of the front door. Grateful I have decent human beings as customers, delivery time was 9:56am.
7/23/24 Arrived to find a package again out front, soaked from the previous nights heavy storms. Luckily wasn't electronics, as this is an electronics shop. And was here until 7:30 the previous night, package wasn't here yet when I left, even though it shows delivered in the early morning 9:59am. See first photo for proof of delivery.
8/17/24 Was about to get dressed for bed, when I checked my app for package tracking, and suddenly the delivered tab started to populate. Immediately knew these idiots were at it again. What part about a closed business means delivery on the next business day is so hard to understand!?!? Package was sitting outside of a closed business for 15hrs, soaked from the storms. Rain is the only thing kept would be package thieves from grabbing it, thankfully. See attached photo, shame I can't post the video of me getting out of the car at 10:50pm and showing the wet package and hours that are posted on the...

I now get text updates when my packages will be out for delivery, and their drivers go above and beyond to call me and make sure I receive any packages that require an adult signature. I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars, mainly because their drivers are excellent.
I ordered from an online retailer who uses this company as a courier. My order was placed on the 21st and they didn't pick it up until the 27th. It's now been 10 days since my package has moved. I reached out to customer support asking when my package would arrive and they didn't answer my question. I replied asking again and they said they would get back to me, that was 2 days ago and there still hasn't been a response. Their customer service agent also used really poor grammar which makes me think they outsource their customer service. Here's the transcript of the conversation with customer service. Me: Oct 2- Hello, I placed an order with an online retailer and it shows it was picked up by you 4 hours away from me on the 27th and the tracking hasn't updated since. When can I expect this package? Why hasn't it moved in the last 5 days? The tracking number is BTS_*
BT: Oct 4- I see that we have received your package it is waiting at one or are hubs to be sent to your local hub Better Trucks Customer Support
Me: Oct 5- I understand that, I'd like to know when I can expect my package. It's now October 5th and the package hasn't moved since you picked it up on the 27th.
BT: Oct 5- OK got you I have reached out to your local hub to see when your package will be delivered one once they give me a response back I will give you a further update I do apologize for the inconvenience. Better Trucks Customer Support
Me: Oct 7- Is there any update? It's now been 10 days since my package was picked up.

It took them 6 days to pick my package up and hold it for 10 days while the package is 4 hours away from me. I won't be ordering from the same retailer if they're still using this company.
Very late edit: I forgot to update when it happened, but my package was delivered after 15 days of them picking it up. It randomly showed up one day, thankfully I was home because I had to sign for it. I checked the tracking after it was delivered and it still said it was waiting at the hub. My opinion hasn't changed, do not use...
Read moreUpdate: within a few hours of this review going up, someone very kind and responsive got in touch with me via email to resolve the issue. They offered to send the driver the next day and he did actually come, and was also very nice. That being said, it shouldn't take this much hullabaloo to get a package delivered, and they should really have a customer service phone number available to save both themselves and their customers a bunch of back and forth.

Awful. This company was contracted to deliver something to me that requires an adult signature, they claim they've made two attempts to deliver it in the past two days, but not a soul has been on my porch on either of those days but me and the actual mailman. As in, yesterday I literally watched the status update in the tracker to 'attempted to deliver' as a tumbleweed went by my house, lol. Not sure what they're trying to pull with that, but I reached out via email early in the day (since they don't have a customer service phone number? sketchy) and haven't heard a peep going on 24 hours later.
Also, find it strange that I never got any contact from them before that, for a delivery that requires a signature and ID check. You'd think it would be the bare minimum effort to notify the person that morning, either through an automated email, or a phone call or text, something. Nope, I guess I'm just expected to have that tracker window pinned open on my phone 24/7, and be available at all times, for a company that definetly doesn't do the same for its customers.
If they ever respond, I'll change this review, but I don't have high hopes at the moment. Avoid 'Better Trucks' if at all possible, they seem to barely qualify as a...
