Quincy NAILS & SPA — Local services in Quincy

DISCLAIMER: I did not end up getting my nails done here! This review is not a reflection of their work, but their time management and interaction(s) with me.

Made an appointment for 10 AM, upon arrival I saw that there was only one employee who was already doing a manicure AND pedicure on someone else. He told me that his associate called out, and that he could help me after finishing the client he was already working on; unfortunately I didn’t have time to wait around for 1+ hour to get my nails done, and that’s exactly why I made an appointment. I decided to walk out because the extra time would have messed up my day. I completely understand how being understaffed feels, 100%. However, when I walked out, the employee ran after me, and I honestly felt like he was trying to guilt me into coming back in; even though I would have had to wait God knows how long. I felt disrespected and as though my time was worthless to this business. I honestly felt bad for leaving. I’m sure that my business was very important to them, but if I make an appointment just to be asked to wait through an entire mani pedi process, that’s a slap in the face. I’m sure that this shop does lovely work, but their time management/communication really needs work. I hope that they can hire some more employees so that one person doesn’t have to carry the whole...

I got eyebrow wax and eyelash extensions. It's been awhile but Quincy really cleaned it up and made me look amazing! They take zelle!! So convenient.

I came in on a weekend upon opening as a walk- in and Quincy welcomed me in. I told her what I wanted and she quickly set up chair for me. She is very detail oriented and gentle with her hands. I love the ambiance and decor of the store and will be coming here regularly. Conveniently located in the same plaza as Super King Market and there's plenty of parking. I was so relaxed here and I even fell asleep! I can tell that Quincy really takes care of her customers and she does a beautiful job. I left feeling so refreshed and I will definitely be coming back 10/10 recommended. Very clean space and very organized.

I went to this place because my feet were cracking and calloused. I limp every time I walk. She did a halfassed job on my callouses. My feet still feel very rough and dry. And the polish... she asked if I wanted gel or regular? I wanted regular. After I had already picked a color. Evidently, I picked a gel polish. She didn't offer the color, or similar color, in a regular polish. She also didn't use a uv light, and applied several coats. They looked pretty before I put on my shoes. Gel polish won't set without a light! Duh! I shouldn't have tipped her, but after working in customer service, it's harder not to...
