Jacks at the Market — Restaurant in Quincy

The food here had always been good but before it closed for covid the service was horrible. Ate there several times thinking it would improve over time and had similar experiences. One trip the staff went at sat at the bar for 15 minutes while we were waiting for service. Another time we were forgotten while a table of ten cam in after the two of us and was served and left while we were waiting for our dinner. I REALLY REALLY hate that I have to give this local restaurant 1 star, But, my experience their was horrible. The customer service was NOT good at all. The waitress did not know about ANY of the wines on the menu, that Jack's offered (I mean = she literally did NOT know a red from a white) Then, she had to come back to the table 2 times to confirm/reaffirm the dinner order (for two people) Then, the salad was never even brought out for one of us. She was absolutely Nice and smiling, but SO SO SO VERY...

Horrible service, they had plenty of staff but do not know how to run a business! The waitress with short brown curly hair has to be the most impersonal customer service I’ve ever experienced. They did not greet us, bring waters, tell us they would be right with us…nothing! We almost left but had to be at a concert and already ordered food. We were there for almost 2 hours for salads! I will give them 1 star because the chef did a great job...
