This was my first time ever coming to PR, I’m from NY. Came to kokos pizza because my hubby plays stickball in NYC and this was the place where they had the meeting for the PR TOURNAMENT. I must admit that if I would have rated this place for the bar tender that was there it would have had been a zero. I asked that lady for a chinola mojito and she told me “ I only have regular”. Someone already told me she’s very rude but I wanted to prove it for my self. I then said no I’m good and asked Paola ( the other bar tender ) which I believe that’s her name . i asked her if she can make me a chinola ( parcha ) mojito and she said sure of course. I was in shock, I thought wait the other lady told me she didn’t have. I must say she was nasty. PAOLA ( I hope that’s her name) she was absolutely nice and took care of me, it did not matter to her that I was a woman. Paola thank you for making my PR experience a little better because my first impression with the other lady was that I thought Puerto Ricans didn’t like when women ordered drinks. Please hire more people like Paola that is what you need I. This business to keep...
Read moreThe food was pretty good here. Customer service was okay, but it could have been better. I ordered from here twice. The first time the only problem that I had was the wait time. The second time I ordered from here, there was a lot of misunderstanding. There was a little bit of language barrier, so if you are ordering from here make sure that you know a good amount of Spanish. Also, I ordered something and I emphasized it several times in Spanish, but I never received it. I was disappointed. Also, some of the items of food were mediocre. The food took a long time to arrive, and it was hard to know when the food was on the way. Also, I had a chicken pastelillo, and as I bit into the pastelillo a piece of rolled up plastic went into my mouth. I was very disappointed and disturbed. I would recommend sticking to the rice and beans and the tacos here, if you do order from here. Just make sure you are willing to bargain, if you order form here. If you are hungry and need quick and good food, please do not...

All week I had been searching for somewhere to try pastelon, but it seems restaurants in the area don't make it. I asked our server (which later I found out she's the owner) where we could eat the best pastelon. She sad her aunt makes it- and if I came back tomorrow for lunch they would have it for me. When I tell you this was well worth the wait and so glad I decided to ask her on a whim. Thank you thank you thank you for having a pastelon made just for me and my husband to try. Now I'm on a mission to find some at home! Oh yeah- and the pizza was really good. Crispy bottom- Fluffy crust-...
