Fitzgerald Fruit Farm — Local services in Raleigh

Fitzgerald’s is one my family’s favourite place to stop at when we are in Woodbury. One of the things there my kids love is their strawberry soft-serve ice cream. They also have great Brunswick stew you can take home and eat. For the adults it has an attached wine tasting room that you can buy wine by the bottle or glass. I recommend the Tribute White wine. Well, it's been over ten years since I visited the farm, today I was excited to bring my granddaughter in for fresh ice cream and her first visit. The place is beautiful since my last visit and the cream is just as good as I remember it and lots of great shopping. But I couldn't help to notice that there was no southern hospitality or greeting upon entering the store which is a bomber being for a 10-year-old business owner.

Fantastic experience at Fitzgerald Fruit Farm. We arrived around 9:30am while we are traveling and it was a great stop to add. The drive in was worth the trip alone, scenic back country road. Inside the shop, it was clean and welcoming. We grabbed some grade A peaches (25lbs), a peach jam, pancake mix, peach salsa, honey, maple syrup, and some other amazing homemade food items to take home.
