I love LaVida Massage of Raleigh ! Heather at the front desk is so friendly and was able to schedule me an appointment the same day! I was so excited because I had been searching for a spa for two days straight that does Prenatal massages ! I called their spa and Heather was so pleasant and eager to help me and my mom find the massage therapist for us ! I treated my mother to a massage by Adam ! My mother informed me that Adam is amazing and was able to ease all her upper shoulder stress and her lower back tension! She said that he was so polite, informative about her massage and it was the best massage she ever had! I also met Adam and he was so nice and I informed him to upgrade my mother if she requested. He wished her happy birthday and gave her great recommendations for home. In this industry a lot of women usaully choose a female therapist but Adam is like no other and gave my mother a wonderful massage ! We need more male therapist like him.I'm so happy that she enjoyed his massage! Ladies please make sure you book with Adam, you will not regret it ! For my massage I had Marina W. ! She was amazing and made me feel so special and comfortable ! My body feels so amazing and I enjoyed every minute of my massage! She consulted with me about all the concerns and problem areas I had and was able to get the knots in my shoulders out! I was so impressed with my massage that I was already prepared to schedule my next appointment before I was finished! After my massage was over she greeted me with water and told me to continue to drink water! Before I left she has informed me that she does facials and I was so happy to know that I can see her for all my spa needs! Please make sure you book with Marina for a great massage and a facial! My body has never felt so relaxed and this is all thanks to Marina! Being 24 weeks pregnant you have a lot of aches and pains but now my body is at ease and I am able to sleep comfortably! This was my 2nd visit. My 1st was about a month ago and I received a massage from Betsy. She was warm, very kind, and attentive. Today, I received a 60-minute massage from Nick. From the initial interaction, his personality was cold and unpleasant. When I expressed that it was cold in the sitting area and that I hoped the room I'd be in would be warmer, his response was, "You'll be ok." When he returned to start my session, he asked if the headrest was OK. I asked if he could lift it and his reply was, "I wouldn't have asked if I couldn't." Rude. I do appreciate the silence during the session b/c I like to relax during massages, so that part worked out. He did a great job with the massage, but his cold demeanor and lack of personable characteristics made it very weird and a bit uncomfortable. He also was not gentle when moving my arms and legs. When he put the cushion under my legs, he let me know so that I could lift them, but he did not warn me or support my legs when he removed the cushion. At the end when I realized my time was up, I inquired about my arm and hand massage and he said he said that I didn't tell him so he focused on my back and shoulders since I shared that as a problem area. When Amy (receptionist) asked how things were, I shared that he did a good massage but that he wasn't very nice. She said that some of the people don't talk much but I shared that him not talking was not my issue, it was the fact that he wasn't kind or personable when he did speak. Her response was, "Well did you want to leave him a tip?" Is that all you're concerned about? Wow. There are far too many options for massage locations for me to spend my money for an...

I got in a car accident, a year ago. As a result, I have two bulging discs in my neck and one in my lower back. I feel like I'm constantly in pain. I have been going to LaVida massage for several months now to help relieve the pain. I have had three massage therapist all of which were great! However, the massage therapist I had last Saturday was the greatest thst I've ever experienced. Brooke was absolutely amazing, she made sure to take special attention in ensuring that my pain areas were taken care of and I was comfortable through the entire experience. She is truly a gifted massage therapist, with amazing attention to detail. She showed the most up compassion to my needs and what I was suffering through. Being a massage therapist and having that kind of attention to detail paired with absolute hands from heaven left my whole body in a state of total Bliss. There is not words to explain this amazing and relaxing experience. I can honestly say this was the first massage that I've had where my body actually left feeling no pain from my neck and back, and my whole body was tingling from how relaxed I was from the experience. Brooke is the most amazing massage therapist in the world, I highly suggest if you get a chance to get a massage, ask for Brooke! You will know what heaven feels like on Earth!

Update: I've continue to see Brooke. It's amazing she's help me feel better than I did after 6-months of physical therapy!
