I’ve been ordering takeout from Bangkok Thai in Wake Forest at least twice a month, and it’s become my go-to spot for delicious Thai food. Their pineapple fried rice is a total winner—perfectly cooked rice mixed with sweet, juicy pineapple chunks and savory flavors that hit all the right spots. It’s consistently amazing and always feels like a treat. The chicken wings are another must-have; they’re crispy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely addictive. I can’t get enough of them, and they travel well for takeout, arriving hot and fresh every time.

Ordering to-go is super convenient, and the staff is always friendly when I pick up my food. The portions are generous, and the presentation is vibrant, even in takeout containers, which makes the meal feel special. Plus, the strip mall location has plenty of free parking, so it’s easy to swing by and grab my order without any hassle. My only suggestion, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that I’d love to see a bit more variety on the menu. The current dishes are fantastic, but something like mango fried rice would be a fun addition to mix things up alongside the pineapple version. Spicy chicken wings would also be a great option for those of us who like a little kick. These additions could make the menu even more exciting for regulars like me.

K. So I had lunch here. Amazing. So I decided to go for dinner. Worst idea ever! Service was horrible and beef was undercooked.And where were the dinner serving of vegetables? While having dinner a gentleman working in the back came out to sit a to go order on the table at the fireplace. He returns to the back running his hands through the front of his hair. Disgusting. My waitress this young girl with black frames...she either had plugs in her ear or just was refusing to give well deserved customer service. I told her I only needed one menu for my partner and I. She comes back and says what would you like to drink? I say, "waters please." She says, Would you like one or two? I nicely said, two please. She brings one water...really? She was a horrible waitress in more ways than one to say the least. The water was the tip of the iceberg. Then after eating a good portion of my rice and veggies I decide to eat some of my thin cut super chewy tasteless beef which had pink parts. I call her over and ask is that supposed to be like that? Which I know it shouldnt because I had it for lunch. She says, no and takes my plate back to cook beef more. Then she brings my same food back out.That has to be against sanitation standards. There were so many other poor actions that took place. I wish I would have recorded. To say the least I'm done...
