Atmosphere and Service: 7.2/10 – The restaurant has a clean and inviting setup, with spacious indoor seating and respectable outdoor seating. The décor includes interesting signs, big TVs, and music, adding to the overall vibe. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu offers a wide variety of options beyond just burgers, giving plenty of choices. Free water cups were a nice touch.
Nachos: 6.9/10 – A well-executed dish with warm, seasoned chips and a great balance of ingredients. The queso sauce stood out as a highlight, and the fresh jalapeños added a nice kick.
Cowboy Burger: 6.8/10 – A solid burger with good overall flavor. The BBQ sauce was prominent, adding a nice sweetness. The bacon, while not crispy, still had a good taste. The quality was evident, and the price was reasonable for what was offered.

Read moreI never leave reviews unless I truly believe they are warranted, but I honestly haven’t had an experience quite so bad in a long time. We arrived at Townhall last evening at 6:00 just to be told that the restaurant was at capacity (which I understood due to COVID); however, was then told that there was not a waiting list for inside dining and that we would have to order for pick-up. I was honestly astounded to hear this as it was only 6:00. Thankfully there is a really great (and highly recommended) brewery 2 doors down, so we decided to place our to go order from there. Call in order process was extremely difficult and payment was made over the phone. No one chose during the ordering process to communicate that all sides were additional money and then we were told that it would be 45 -60 minutes before food was ready. Someone else in the brewery was talking about their awful experience right after we placed our order, so we immediately ran over to add sides. This is the part that truly placed me over the edge... we were told at 6:15 that we couldn’t amend our order and add sides and that they were no longer taking orders... it was a Saturday night at 6:15!!!!!! When we finally received our order, burgers were undercooked and the food was literally cold. Never received a bill either so had to look up how ridiculously expensive this awful...
Read moreMy husband and I are pretty picky about eating out due to quality, service, and expense, but we have to admit we frequent the Raleigh/Wakefield THBB once a week or so, especially and in large part due to Steady’s management—it’s to the point that if we aren’t seen there, you need to be callin to check on us, lol. My husband loves the burgers and I the salads, tacos, and desserts😊!
But seriously, we soon realized that when we began going to THBB, we always received great food and service and were usually checked on by Steady (aka Caleb) to make sure everything was to our liking. As we have conversed with Steady over the last year, we have learned how much he cares about doing an excellent job in the casual dining space, providing great customer service, having quality and sufficient product, and hiring hard-working staff who share his vision. We know in this day and age, that is hard to come by. He’s doing all he can to make it a great experience for the customers, and we truly appreciate his kindness, professionalism, and work ethic. And if by chance something isn’t right, he will make it right. Because managers oft get the brunt of customers’ complaints, we love to call out great service and great people when we experience...
