My boyfriend and I have been residents at Loch Raven Pointe for over two years now and just renewed our lease. We started in the garden apartment and just transferred to a townhouse layout. We tried looking at other properties for a change of scenery, but every place we looked at we ended up comparing to Loch Raven. We love our neighbors and the events put on in the clubhouse. Summer at the pool every weekend gives you the chance to meet everyone. It’s like one big family. Heather is always going out of her way and even when I walk in right at 5:30pm willing to accommodate my needs. Al is always there on call to help us and Randy even lets me borrow his ladder when I feel like painting spontaneously. The who environment of our little circle is what keeps us here. You can’t be the incredible location – 10 minutes to Downtown Raleigh – 10 minutes to North Hills – 10 minutes to the Knightdale Station Dog Park. You have the Neuse Trails easily assessable and can take advantage of renting bikes from the office! I’m not a sales person, but Loch Raven...
Read moreI've been living in my townhome since February 2025, and overall it's been a decent experience. The neighborhood is quiet, which I really appreciate, and the leasing process was smooth, transparent, and flexible. Jill in the office was amazing —professional, responsive, and made the move-in process feel easy.
Maintenance has been friendly. During the summer, you might see a few critters, but that's to be expected with the season, and pest control can be scheduled if needed.
There are a few cons worth mentioning. If your neighbors smoke or cook with very strong spices, the smell can travel easily into your home, which can be overwhelming at times. The biggest issue by far is the trash situation. The compactor is often misused—despite space being available, some neighbors leave their bags outside of it. This becomes especially bad over the weekends, when the trash piles up and the smell is hard to ignore. (I've included pictures for reference.)
All in all, the experience has been mostly positive, with a few areas that could use...
Read moreI haven't had any issues living here, it’s been overall good, been here over a year, however I do have one complaint. I brought my car back a few months ago and didn’t expect I would be required to pay taxes on my car so soon, and this complex sends a tow company looking for expired tags, even though you have an assigned personal parking space. I was out of town and received a call about my car that received a sticker (which the sticker was a pain to remove) stating the my car was going to be towed within 3 days. I immediately called and spoke with the lady in the office which she was really nice and offered me an extension, but however it’s holiday time and having to pay $500 during this time of year is a huge setback for my family, especially when I’m a resident with my own parking space so my tags are “NOT” affecting anyone and my car is brand new so it’s not some broke down car just sitting here. This is my only complaint but overall enjoy...
