The Cupola Spa & Salon — Local services in Rancho Cordova

I rarely get a haircut and decided to try this salon for a treat. The place is beautiful but the service was not great. I originally had an appointment scheduled for 1:30PM then received a call a couple days later asking if I could come in at 2:30PM instead. The day of the appointment I was called being told my stylist Madelyn was running behind and needed to bump my appointment back to 3PM. I was still hopeful but when I got there she was still behind, her next client showed up before my haircut was finished and she seemed a little nervous and rushed the whole time. She seemed new and wanted to take before and after pictures so I agreed, she took a before picture but no after picture and never showed me the back of my hair before I left. I checked when I got home and it looked okay when it was curled and styled. After washing it and letting it dry it did not look okay so I called and the only option they gave me was to go back to her or get 10% another haircut with a different stylist. I'm not going to pay for another service risking my hair getting more messed up and I absolutely do not want to go back to the same stylist.

Oh my goodness if you are looking for an amazing spa experience you will find it at The Cupola Spa. The spa is a full service salon that offers massage, skin, hair and nail services. It has a beautiful open concept that overlooks the pool. Kayla our masseuse has the natural gift of massage. Not only was the massage relaxing but we both left feeling less tense and in full vacation mode. It was an unforgettable massage and we hope to be back soon!

Additionally I enjoyed a pedicure by Michelle, who is a seasoned Nail Technician. The pedicure chairs overlook the pool and spa. After chatting with Michelle, it was obvious that she truly loves what she does and has deep roots in the community. She has a large client following and now I know why! I just had a hydro facial at the beautiful spa. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. I was impressed with all the great facial products, candles, services, including adorable clothes.
