Read moreWent there during off season on April 15, 2025, bought some licorice, taffy, chocolates and novelty candy. After we got home we noticed that the novelty candy had a best by date of January 2025, the chocolates had turned white, and the licorice was so hard and old, it actually shattered when I took a bite. I buy this particular licorice frequently and it is supposed to be soft and pliable. Their candy is not cheap and to find out that they are selling old, stale products at a premium price is outrageous. Don't go there during off season. Wait until they've sold all their old stuff to suckers like me who can't take the junk back because by the time we realize we have been had, we are hundreds of miles away. Definitely a tourist...
