This store is very cute and has a great selection of clothes, but the staff (especially the older lady) was very rude to me and treated me like I was trying to steal from them! I was trying on clothes in the fitting room and my boyfriend was standing in the hallway outside so I could show him the pants I was trying on, and one of the attendants told him he couldn’t stand in the hallway, which is sort of understandable, I get not wanting men in that area, but then the next time I tried something on, I walked out into the doorway separating the dressing room area and the main store, and an older lady came up to me saying that I’m not allowed to go into the store area in clothes I’m trying on. She told me in a pretty accusatory tone that it was on the back of the fitting room door, but I couldn’t believe that she was telling me that— I was standing maybe a foot into the store so that my boyfriend who was buying my pants could see me!! She acted like I was going to run out the door with them! How am I supposed to show my partner the clothes if he can’t be in the fitting room area, and I can’t go past the doorway? I understand loss prevention especially in a smaller store but this was plain rude and extremely off putting, I almost considered putting the pants I got back because of it! For being a hippie store they sure are quite uptight and condescending. Cute selection, but don’t come here unless you want to be treated like a thief. I visited this store a couple days ago on labor day and I was planning on buying quite a few things. The older woman with dark hair and glasses followed me around the store the entire time I was there acting like I was trying to steal. I did nothing to make them think I was stealing and I wasn’t trying to steal. At one point I was trying on clothes and an employee stood right outside the dressing room door and wouldn’t leave me alone even when I asked for some privacy. I was only trying on 2 pairs of pants and I didn’t even have my purse in the dressing room with me. It was incredibly rude and I ended up just leaving without buying anything because I felt so uncomfortable. I am not sure the lady's name but I went in today not knowing what I wanted. I found a beautiful pair of feathered earings for my mother in law and happened to see a feather pendant that would match the earings perfectly . I needed a necklace for the pendant and the necklace I wanted was a little to big for the pendant but the lady who helped me got it to fit on the necklace! it became a beautiful matching set I know my mother in law will be ecstatic about getting this christmas .. thank u to the girl that helped me u made the perfect ending to my shopping experience i am forever greatful for...
