Found this place from eating a burger at coal festival. I've gone to an all meat diet along with my wife. We bought these burgers at the festival, and eating just the patty out of the bun was the most tasteful burger. We had never had a burger this good with a bun anywhere, let alone just a plain patty. Asked the person working where this amazing burger was from, and she said Miller's in redbud. The next week, I visited the market to get some of these tasty burgers my wife and kids loved. The people working there were very helpful and kind. I didn't feel rushed ( like every other meat market I have been to). and I asked a lot of questions about meat quality and pricing, which again can make a person seem annoying, which I felt like they wanted to educate me about their quality and not push me out to get to the next person ( It could have been I'm 270 pounds and told them I'm on a meat diet lol ) but it wasn't about sales only the owner came out and explained how quality fresh there products are and showed the back walk in of fresh meat they cut and grind and package. Guy was proud, and he should be with products like this. Not only super helpful staff, the prices on this meat made it where I can feed my family with food that is not poison.. The lady helped me with the sale price on chicken wings that I could get more for less without skipping a beat. I bought as much as I could. They helped me out to the truck since it was so much. Now folk, if you made it this long, I'll tell you that when I got home, I salted a steak faster than a fat kid eats cake ( which used to be me🤫). Along with burgers and let me tell you, it was disgusting 🤢 ly amazing 😂 see what I did. I had never seen my daughter eat a burger that fast. This steak tasted like how I would imagine unicorn taste 😋. This is from the store to the grill in 15 minutes, only salted and peppered for one minute before on. The moral of the story is to buy real meat, and I'll tell you better get there and get some because I'll be back and I will have a bigger fridge. 10 star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thanks...
Read moreUpon arriving I noticed immediately the meat in the display case wasn’t looking the best. Green tinges of color and looking extremely dry. This place has a ton of good reviews so maybe I caught them on a bad day? I watched the lady weigh out my hamburger with the same gloves she had been handling everything with previously. After packaging up our stuff she kept the contaminated gloves on. She took our card and touched all over the register with her contaminated hands. We have gift cards from my husband’s work that we’d really like to use, so we gave them another chance. We went back. The next lady (different lady) Literally germ-exed her gloves instead of getting a new pair. Again I got hamburger and she did the same thing as the other worker touching everything with the dirty gloves. This time I get home and start cooking up this meat. I live in town. I went straight home on a cold day and cooked it. It smelled of wet dog and I googled why this is. Something to do with the bacteria break down process and the meat sitting at room temp for too long. I did not call because I know how this can cause controversy on weather I handled the meat properly because we all can’t just take a person’s word for it. Although I’m pretty upset you can’t find decent meat anywhere these days. If they can’t change gloves and make sure things are clean, what do they do in the back with your meat you...
