Yellowstone Fossils and Minerals — Local services in Red Lodge

WOW WOW WOW!!! As I traveled the country scattering my cat, Rex’s ashes (for context I’m a huge dinosaur lover hence the name) I fell upon the amazing and wonderful fossil store in Cooke City!! I was shocked, even floored one might say, to be welcomed with such love and warmth especially from the lovely MaryGrace! She patiently walked me through their wonderful fossil collection (as I was looking for something to put at Rex’s memorial) and helped me pick the most exquisite T-Rex tooth. She comforted me by sharing stories of her life and her friends back at school (gotta say they sound like a great group.) Even though I never imagined walking through life without Rex, it gives me comfort to know that the world isn’t always dark and scary and we aren’t alone when there are people out there such as the hilarious MaryGrace!! #FossilsForLife...

We stopped in a few weeks ago. Would've been a great store but while we were shopping the owner came in and publicly berated the employee working the counter. That's a no no. This place rocks! How nice it is to find such a gem so close to Yellowstone National Park. I was totally sediment-al walking in—every shelf was gneiss and neatly arranged!
