My daughter went for a job interview or what was supposed to be a job interview and the hiring manager Grant said that she was late. She got there at 345 for a 4 pm appointment. After she said the day before on the phone that she could not get there for 330 is 4 ok. He said yes on the phone 4 would be fine and I will see you then. That is when he claimed that the position was filled. By the way he said all this in the middle of the store near the register with a loud tone in front of customers. If you can treat a potential employee like that I wonder how he treats the people who work there. Then again that might be why they are always hiring. I was a regular customer but I will no longer spend my hard earned money on a place that treats people like that. I will be contacting a lawyer as I beleive that this was...

Since Augie sold Chartley, it seems the new owners aren't getting the same quality meat as the store was always known for. Not sure I like the new additions - I purchased some bakery things that seemed pricey and the items were all stale. They seem to have expanded the grocery section which is ok if you need something in a hurry, but I've always gone for their meat and the section where Augie always kept the sides has been radically reduced in size so there's not as much choice if you want something cut to order. I guess we'll see...prices are up everywhere but it was worth the extra $$ for the best butchers around...hope to see...
