I wish I could tell you the food was fabulous, but my family and I never received our food after 1 ½ hours of waiting in this restaurant. I was very much looking forward to trying a new local restaurant. We arrived for our reservation and were seated in a timely fashion. The restaurant is beautiful and new but that’s where the good experience ended. 45 minutes after ordering for our food, the server came to the table and stated there was a problem with the fryolator. Our waiter disappeared and never came back to the table to check on us, offer to refill drinks or possibly change our order. Later he emerged from the kitchen chewing food. Chewing his dinner on the floor while he waited tables was disgusting. I’m glad he was able to enjoy his dinner. After waiting an additional 45 minutes we still hadn’t received our food. Another server came to our table to tell us again there was a problem with the fryolator. The new waiter went to the bar to speak to the manager/owner that was standing there chatting with a customer. The manager for very aware of the situation and never even bothered to address the issue and/or apologize. Since it was Mother’s Day it was the least he could do. The manager saw us leaving and did not even glance in our direction. The customer service is terrible and one of the worst experiences I have ever had in an establishment. Waiting 1 ½ hours for food and never receiving it is unacceptable. Thanks Campfire Tavern& Table for a great...
Read moreTERRIBLE Management. The WORST restaurant experience my family has ever had. Save your money and time. It is NOT worth it. My husband and I have been here a handful of times, hoping each time we would have a better experience, but boy were we wrong. We should have known better, but they are conveniently located down the street so we went again.. Our terrible experience- occurred on Saturday, 4/27/24 with our 2-year-old. We ordered buffalo tenders and they were 100% frozen and tasted like something you'd get at the zoo. For a meal he ordered salmon well done- it was RAW. I ordered the prosciutto de parma and they left the casing on! It was literally inedible. As we waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come back, she apologized and brought it to the kitchen. 10 minutes later she came back and said it was taking a while. We told her to forget it and we will take our check. She profusely apologized (I told her it was not her fault). She spoke with the manager and they took the meals we did not eat off our bill. The most disappointing part (aside from not being able to eat) was the fact the manager DID NOTHING. She never came over to apologize. Nothing. We go out a lot and know a lot of people. IF anyone asks about this place- my response will not be favorable. Very disappointing for a new beautiful place. Very...
Read moreVisited Campfire for the first time yesterday with some family and think we found a hidden gem. Staff were able to move our reservation to a later time (so we could have dinner service rather than lunch service), which was very accommodating. The restaurant is new, with a modern country decoration and is very elegant and nice. Our server Kim, was a delight, so friendly and attentive and very personable. We ordered some appetizers, focaccia from the bakery next door, really great. Our cocktails were expertly made and very tasty (thanks for the suggestions Kim). Entrees were just as good. Be sure to try the steak frites, the beef short rib and of course the truffle fries. I was eyeballing other items on the menu which grabbed my attention, but I'll have the order them the next time. I saw that, because we will definitely be back. To end the meal, some coffee and dessert was ordered. Once again Campfire didn't disappoint. The coffee was fresh and tasty. The cheesecake, chocolate mousse were great, but the table favorite was the DIY table side smores... We thought that was a great touch for a restaurant named Campfire. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try this restaurant. You can thank me later. Just be sure to make a reservation, as it can get really busy. Thanks for...
