Alaska Strike Zone Sportfishing - Ketchikan Fishing Charters — Local services in Revillagigedo Island

I really hate writing bad reviews, but I want other to be aware. We booked a fishing trip with Alaska Strike Zone on June 6, spoke directly with Stormy, and were told we were confirmed. We booked our Alaskan cruise specifically around this excursion, it was my husband’s bucket list request.

Despite being told we were all set, we never received a confirmation email. I followed up weeks later, only to be told they had double-booked and had no spot for us. No one reached out. They held our money for over a month without fulfilling the service or communicating.

What’s even more concerning is that the same unavailable time slot continues to show as available on their website (even after communication). I don’t know if this is mismanagement or something worse, but it’s unacceptable. Had I not followed up, we would have assumed we were confirmed until the day of.

We did find a last-minute alternative, but only after a lot of stress and scrambling. I don’t recommend trusting this business with your time, money, or...

I had an awesome time with Alaska strike zone Ben was our guide for the afternoon I had a midday charter for myself my wife and 2 boys 12 and 15 and was limited on time only had about an hour and a half of real fishing time due to the fact I had to get back to my boat out of kechacan at 3 in the hour and a half we had Ben put us on the fish he wasted no time got us out there and on the fish we caught 2 nice keeper salmon and I had them processed and sent home to Maryland all of wich was taken care of by Alaskan strike zone I highly recommend them to anyone in the kechacan area looking for a high quality fishing experience these guys are great very professional they really know there stuff cant say enough about them I will definitely be returning to fish with them again only regret i have is that I wish I had more time to have spent fishing with them by far my best experience on my Alaskan cruise...

Ok so I am no Novice fisherman. I tournament fish, have a partner that qualifies for crappiemasters. My young boat captain was not an experienced fisherman. He did what he was taught with no adjustments till my suggestions. We had 6 bites in 2.5 hrs of fishing, all but 1 of those bites came on 1 rod at a certain depth. So you can tell the fish were not really feeding hard. Now knowing this you would think that all rods would go to within 5 feet depth of the 1 rod getting bites. Nope was told to trust my captain. Well I finally told him to put the same lure on another rod and depth. He said that doesn't usually make a difference. We preceded to catch 4 fish in 20 minutes on that rod.
