Amazon Fulfillment Center ORD5 — Local services in Rich Township

There’s this funny but angry manager here—I don’t know his name, but he’s a Black guy with glasses. So, I came here to pick up a load, but my load wasn’t ready. I decided to have some breakfast in my truck, and after that, I went into the driver’s room to wash my dishes and watch some TV.

When I tried to wash my dishes, he said, “Hey, go to a truck stop and wash your dishes because you’re not allowed to do it here.” I asked him why the sink was even installed there, but he just ignored me.

A few weeks later, I came to the same location for another pickup. I got out of my truck to meet the DoorDash driver and grab my food. And guess what? 😂 This guy was sitting in his Dodge Challenger outside the security gate. He stopped me and asked why I was walking there. I told him I want picking up my food because DoorDash drivers can’t enter Amazon facilities. He got angry 😡 and said, “Hey, I’m the manager here, and you need to go back to your truck. You can’t walk around here.”

So, long story short… I don’t know, guys—it’s just a funny story about rude and unfriendly management.

Hey, manager, if you see this, I just want to say: Be a man. You don’t deserve to be a manager here because you’re rude and unfriendly. Just be a normal person—stop acting like you’re the CEO of Amazon.

And remember, the whole world doesn’t revolve around you. Today, you’re a manager, but tomorrow, you might be frying potatoes...

Yeah I work there. Good job to make money. They need to have a better system up there and they need to have like a 8-hour shift. Some people can't do 12 in 10 and flex need to be the one coming in filling in when the people cannot come to work the full-time workers and that will change the hole game up there.they need Better food and a lunchroom. They need to have More. Don just sandwiches and candy bars and little bitty stuff they got up. TThey need real food and they need to give their employees better gifts for working. They give them t-shirts carvana when I was working there. They give you all kind of gifts with robux in a minute. They got a bad term over right. It's like a big high school up there hours in the PA up there is the supervisor they don't do no work. They walk around and tell you what to do when they should be doing some work too. They always on a laptop or telephone everybody having relationships but if you stay focused you...

I gave one star is because when I’m offsite and I’m not there at work so I asked simply questioned about shift and time card and anything else I ask about my concern sooo I asked them I want to make sure understand and clearly about time I got start clock in and clock out have two different shift schedule Friday and Saturday so they won’t response as chime and email as well while offsite I don’t know why they not do their job so employee don’t want to drive alll the way to amazon waste of gas and they don’t compensate you at alll…. Managers and HR made lot of excuses nobody want to hear about “excuse” that’s what I’m so tired of ppl make excuse because Managers and HR want you to come and on-site so they only will response with your questions or concern they can help with but if you’re offsite they...
