Mimosa park is a cute park I. The middle of Richardson. We come about four times a year for club soccer practice. The park has plenty of activity space. Two tennis courts, a baseball backstop, plenty of space for soccer and a great playground. Plus a picnic pavilion. The disadvantage is the parking. The parking lot is small and while you can mark along the road coming in, the drive can be tight. It is close walking distance to several neighborhoods so maybe the expect more people to walk.

One of those few parks that are naturally shaded by trees all around. Fun place to go with kids. There are play grounds for 2-5 yrs and 5+. My toddler loved it. There are also picnic tables and places to grill. Just across the field is the baseball field. Parking is next to the baseball fields. It is free but limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

This is the best park in the area. It is so well maintained. We had our daughters 4th birthday party here and it was a hit. There is a side for the younger kids and one for the older kids. Plenty of swings are always available. The extra space on the field is great for kicking or throwing a ball around.

Love this park, the playground is clean and enough parking space. The play structures are divided into older kids and younger kids (under 5) They have the swing with the safety feature in it. There is also a huge grass area that you can run around, tennis court, soccer field and picnic area. The only reason I don't give 5 star is because the toilet has dirty wet floor and dark, it was not easy to change diaper there and there is no place to...

It was perfect for kids, and parents who want to walk simultaneously, with a good size pergola for shade. Comparing to the average solitary adventure of only a slide and swings, this playground activities are bountiful and great for the soon to be gymnasts, athletes or any kid who needs to release energy. Barely anyone was there, so it eased my worry of Covid...
