If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner was completely unprofessional and downright rude. I had picked up a cane and when I did it broke. You would think a cane wouldn’t break mind you it was $60 dollars. Keep in mind is was a plastic pice of junk. Although it really wasn’t my fault it broke me and my boyfriend offered to pay for it. While checking out the Owner sat there shaking her head saying, “that’s disappointing”. Being completely disgustingly rude. I said, “It was an accident you don’t need to be rude about it” to which the owner responded “well i’m the owner i can’t afford to be rude to my costumers” being that we already offered to pay for it. We had other items that we were going to buy and immediately put that back. I would NEVER give my money to people like that. It shows why there are never any cars in the lot. I won’t be shopping here and i hope others don’t as well. MIND YOU the other lady at the check out said oh look there’s a crack in it that must be why it broke and yet still paid for the crappy cane. On my way out I shared some lovely words with the owner and even wished her a better day. One where that attitude...
Read moreI bought a new cutting board and was overcharged because there were 2 price tags on it. There were several like items in the booth, all with one price tag on each item and the tags were identical. I looked over the one I wanted thoroughly (for cracks, etc.) I NEVER saw 2 price tags. I gave it to the lady working at the register and she put it in the back until I was ready to pay. After shopping I went to pay, at that time the cashier asked me which vendor I got it from, like she wasn't sure where I got it. She never told me there were 2 tags on it and proceeded to charge me for the larger amount of money. I unfortunately didn't realize this until I got down the road so I turned back and showed them the price sticker which was still on it. The cashier showed me the other tag which was a different shape and different hand writing from all the other stickers in that booth. She basically stared at me like I was lying. Rude. I know for a fact that there was only one tag on the item. I think a tag fell off something in the back and they just assumed it was for my purchase. Will not go back...
Read moreVery nice collection of old 1930s and 40s O-Gauge train cars. Lots of antiques. Definitely not a store to bring any children. Everything is fragile and very expensive. A great place for collectors and for new homeowners who want authentic antiques to accentuate their home. Move carefully and be gentle in handling everything. Expect to spend about an hour looking through all of the collections. This is a real treasure and I am glad I took the time to visit and explore. There is an antique telephone from the coopersburg phone company that I would have purchased if I had the money. There are lots of really cool antiques that if you can afford them I don't think you will find them anywhere else at least I have never seen them anywhere else. Each section is rented by collectors selling their own personal antiques. I really am happy I stopped in. I purchased 11 train cars and there are literally hundreds of o gauge cars and locomotives. Lots of antique toys and dolls. Normally not my type of place but I...
