Anaviv catering and Wendy Kleckner fed our 120 wedding guests. When we began planning our wedding, the quality of the food was a high priority and Anaviv did not disappoint.
Wendy has now catered my baby naming, bat mitzvah, and wedding. She was on site the day of our wedding from setup to tear down, and boy did she go above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She saw that each area was setup according to our needs and she did a walkthrough with us prior to the wedding day. On the day of our wedding, she regularly checked on us to make sure we got a chance to enjoy our meal. The appetizers, entree, and desserts tasted amazing. Many guests were telling us how much they liked the food.
Honestly, from the food tasting to the wedding day, everything was top notch. Each item was well thought out and based on our dietary requests. Anaviv was able to create a Rabbinically supervised kosher feast that tasted like it was from a gourmet restaurant. The food was exceptional in quality and it also was presented in a visually appealing manner. The staff were kind, on time, and left the venue clean.

Read moreYesterday Chef Ian and Nick provided our family with a sumptuous repast to celebrate our 50th anniversary. They were unobtrusive and flexible. They came to our house, served hot and cold hors d'oeurves outside (amazing coconut shrimp, tomato gallette and vegetables, cheeses and dip which were all out of this world), then we went inside for a beautiful salad. The piece de resistance was - I'm told - the swordfish. Perfectly juicy and tender. Two of us had the vegan entree and another guest had Keto. Ian and Nick were so sensitive to our dietary needs and treated each one of us (we were 10) with upmost consideration. The dessert was a fruit gallette with a delicious creamy concoction. All of their ingredients were super fresh and delicious. The service could not have been better. My husband and I are relishing the afterglow of this event as I write. We asked for "California-Mexican" food featuring seasonal, local veggies. They proposed a menu with a variety of options that fit this description and had us come in to taste some of them. The food was incredible and got us so excited to share with our guests. We also enjoyed chatting with the chef about possible adjustments. When the wedding came, the food was just as good and we got so many compliments from our guests.
We also designed a highly specific cocktail menu with ~7 drinks on it. Anaviv accommodated this level of customization and helped batch the cocktails/syrups before the event. Every drink tasted as intended on the day of the wedding, and there was never a line at the bar.
