This place is EXPENSIVE. They have high prices on everything. Yet, they have a lot of customers. The deli area is also really pricey. Quality of the food is going down too. Used to be better. Be careful when you ask for carnitas because sometimes they give you less than what you're paying for. I live a couple of blocks from there so I only go when I need an ingredient that I need for cooking and don't want to go too far to get it or I don't have time to be in long lines. Parking is bad. Came here like 5yrs ago, when I first moved to Richmond, was not good imo. This morning was looking for new spots to try chicharrón and they came up. My hubs said let’s try it again, people say their carnitas are good….. so happy we did, the food was so good. The smell of fresh food hits you before you walk in. The meat wasn’t dry or over cooked. Yesterday was the first time i had a burrito there. My dad has been telling me about this spot. No lie the best burrito i had better than the taco trucks.
