My GE dryer is making a loud squeaky noise and taking a long time to dry our clothes. I called GE as we are still under our warranty. UNFORTUNATELY, the service repair is contracted to CROSSTOWN! I was scheduled from 8am-12pm TODAY. I received a call from Crosstown who said I was not on the schedule and I argued that I was. The dispatch lady from CROSSTOWN had to call me back and when she did she stated there were 2 tickets for my repair one was in fact scheduled for TODAY FROM 8AM-12PM and the other one wasn't scheduled so she canceled the unscheduled ticket. I was to receive a call when the service guy was 30-20 minutes out. I never received a call so I called CROSSTOWN and the guy (Cody or Corey) was a JERK and told me that he was going to cancel my ticket since he didn't know when the service guy was going to be here. I told him DO NOT CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT and demanded to know when the tech was going to be here. I am now being told it will be between 1 and 3pm today. This is HORRIBLE customer service!!! I called GE and filed a complaint AGAINST CROSSTOWN and I am standing behind this HORRIBLE review!!!
AGAIN JORDAN THIS IS NOT ON GE. THIS IS ON YOU AND YOU ALONE!! SEE MY YELP REVIEW FOR FULL DETAILS!! MY APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED. I CONTACTED YOU WHEN YOUR SERVICE TEAM NEVER CALLED AND NEVER SHOWED!! I HOPE GE DROPS THEIR CONTRAVT WITH YOU. YOU ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON AND...
Read moreIf you look at the other non-absurdly positive reviews. Another person had the exact same complaint they I experienced. They claimed they were waiting for a part for my dishwasher from the warranty company. However, an employee from the company stated they had the part. Several other places around town had the part. The warranty company said that Crosstown had never requested a part from them even though they claimed they had requested the part over a month before. The warranty company said they had a responsibility to respond to the warranty within a 2 day period. They never installed the part or responded to the warranty party even after the warranty company gave them the part. They were rude when I pointed out that they had the part. They are a company I couldn't rely...
Read moreI had to call five times over the course of 17 days. Each time, the call center sent me information on the company that was actually supposed to come out. (Crosstown appliance)
It was scheduled to come, supposedly. However, there was no call, and no show. I called again three more times, hearing the same thing, they will still call you to set up a time. Nothing.
I finally called the fifth and last time and was transferred to a manager who actually hung up on me! Wow! It was a horrible experience.
I do not recommend using this warranty company or this repair center. They will take your extra money for the warranty but not help or fix the problem.
User's recommendation: DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR...
