Been golfing for 20 years. This place is awesome. You have an excellent driving range that is very well kept, along with a 6-hole par 3 in excellent condition, a covered range, a chipping green, and a putting green. They also have a nice fitting room and staff on site for service needs. Ball prices are probably the most reasonable in the area when combined with convenience of everything.

An odd little 6 hole course and driving range tucked into an urban neighborhood. The course is crazy short, you play the entire thing with wedges and a putter, no reason to ever even use a tee, it takes about 30min to play and is good wedge practice. I was surprised by how nicely kept the grounds were, definitely worth a stop by. I will probably bring friends here that want to learn golf.

Lots of space for those seeking some range time. Posts at variable distances. At this time (7/1/18) the Par 3 nine hole course is closed and under rehab, as well as the putting green. Staff states they should be ready to go by August. Range grass was fresh and in great shape! I'll be back! 6.50 for a small bucket 10.50 for a medium (75 balls) 14.00 for a large

I had a club fitting done at the facility and the experience was phenomenal. Starting with the facility it is easily accessible from 64 and parking is not a problem at all. The facility while smaller has everything you need and is very clean and welcoming. The staff was awesome across the board but Mark Lynch and Ian (sorry didn’t get your last name) were in charge of my fitting and made me feel comfortable and confident in their analysis and recommendations. Mark took additional time after the fitting to spec out the clubs I wanted (which were not available through First Tee). He didn’t need to do this but it didn’t seem to be a problem. He also gave me a few quick adjustments and had my ripping 7 irons that had shot tracker technology making me feel like a tour pro. All around a great experience and very very reasonably priced. Fantastic facility to practice and play golf! The large grass range always has fresh new grass to hit from. The course and practice areas with Champion Bermuda greens are beautiful and very well kept. And the indoor Trackman simulators make swinging during the winter months enjoyable (sign up for their winter leagues!). Mark and the whole staff at First Tee are extremely friendly and helpful. Yay!!! So glad the First Tee is Open! What an incredible resource for RVA. Beautiful clubhouse, covered and uncovered driving range, lots of targets, chipping and putting green and 6 hole par 3!!!
