Beautiful store…absolutely horrendous customer service. My daughter was looking forward to shopping here with her birthday money. My other daughter also has a birthday coming up, so we were ready to shop! I would NEVER spend my hard earned dollars at this establishment! Upon walking in, the lady at the register just stared us up and down and said absolutely nothing to us. She continued to just watch us at the register, never saying a word. Maybe 2 3 mins later, a Caucasian man came in and she yelled out “Welcome in!!” with such a friendly demeanor, I was shocked. We have lived in the Richmond area for almost 20 years and I really think this was my first encounter with racism. To have my daughters witness this was truly disheartening. Hidden gem for kawaii and sanrio lovers!!! I bring my daughter here for a shopping spree about once a month and usually end up with lots of goodies for myself too;). We go to all of the kawaii shops around houston and this is one of our favorites. It’s kind of out of the way but so worth the trip. It’s organized and reasonably priced. It’s not just filled with junk like some of the other shops. There’s tons of Sanrio and some anime…mostly dragon ball and Pokémon…unfortunately no Demon Slayer yet though. The shop itself is decorated really cute and they even offer slime classes. I took my daughter and a friend to the first ever class and it was really cool. The staff is friendly and attentive. I literally just walked out and left annoyed. We literally walked in, was not greeted at all at. Walked around the store for maybe 3 minutes, walked past the young lady that was sitting on her computer who didn’t look up once. I literally said “hello” (nicely) then she looked up and said “do you need any help” my response was “no, I just wanted to greet you”. Super disappointed as we are from out of town and I did see this place on tik tok which lead me to make the trip to the store. Looked great and inviting on tik tok but definitely was not in person. Was excited to have my daughter do the slime part of the store but she didn’t even ask if interested when she heard us talking about it. Left without buying anything.
