I was lucky enough to be introduced to Seawicks from many states away. My mother bought me a candle from the Boothbay Harbor shop last summer, and I fell in love with the scent. As the weather has started to warm again, I got to thinking about that scent, realizing that I wanted to get additional candles for when mine finally burns out.

Long story short, Michael and Cara were extremely responsive and helpful to inquiries from both me and my mom, as we worked to identify the scent of the candle I had. After some trial and error, Michael identified it as the “North Beach” fragrance, and I have to tell you, if you want a scent that will lull you into the feeling of deep summer, North Beach is the way to go.

Not only do I love this company for the candles themselves (they stay fragrant even when not lit), I’ll remain a loyal customer from afar, simple because of the customer service I received. After one shipment of candles that weren’t quite the right scent, I was told to keep and enjoy them while I was shipped the North Beach scent, in the same number, in only a matter of days. I have been buying Seawicks Candles since they started their business in Boothbay Harbor. I have given them as gifts countless times & have purchased so many for myself I have amassed an entire collection of amazing water/cocktail glasses (repurposed once the candle has fulfilled its “scentful” life). I attached a photo of just a few.

These soy candles not only look great, they burn cleanly & smell even better! Michael & Cara are quick to respond to questions & they ship incredibly fast.They will even include gift bags & cool tissue paper upon request.

Love love love Seawicks candles!! I smelled their “Pick Your Own Strawberries” scented candle in a small boutique in Maine several years ago and have been addicted to their candles ever since. The candles burn cleanly and last forever, and the scent stays consistent throughout the life of the candle. I love the designs on their glass jars and that you can either reuse or recycle them when the candle is burned out. They have so many amazing scents, too - for summer, for the holidays, to remind you of being in the woods or on the coast or in a specific place. I would highly recommend...
