Oh, how we wanted that first ice cream! I stood in line with 13 other people outside with the wind blowing road sand waiting patiently. Patiently, while the sole person there kept reminding us that "I'll be right with ya" as he instead tended to the side window servicing drive-ups cozy in their cars - After more than 10 minutes of that, I left disappointed. the other 13 people chatted among themselves as he tended the cars. It didn't help my disposition that the "Tip jar" was only for the outside patient people- while the drive-ups with their heater on escaped that tax entirely. They had a home made GIANT ICE CREAM COOKIE 🍪 WICH WAS AWESOMELY MADE, THE COOKIE PART THAT IS! WHEN IT CAME TO THE FILLER (ICE CREAM) IT WAS SOFT SERVE; THIS IN MY OPINION KILLED THE GREAT HOME MADE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE.. ALL IN ALL GREAT SERVICE,GREAT PRICES!!!!!!!!!!!$ VERY AFORDABLE .AFTER THIS ONE CAN GO DOWN BY THE KENNEBECK RIVER AND ENJOY A LEiSURE TIME. DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS?! We were going to have ice cream for lunch. When we were standing in line to order we saw a sign with a lunch special 2 hot dogs, chips and milkshake or ice cream for $8.50. So we ordered and my husband & I shared once we finished eating our hot dogs I returned to the order window to order our sundae it was a very generous size. The food was delicious and we had plenty of food for the two of us for lunch. We would definitely return....
