Family Dollar — Local services in Richmond

I would not shop here. I came by and they were closed for lunch and did not indicate when they left or when they would be back. Let me tell you that's a long damn lunch. Maybe the manager should be working if there is no one to cover an employee for lunch. Go to the dollar store in litchfield, trust me.

This was another visit to the wonderful store when they were open. I tried to get $10 cash back and was told they just opened and had no cash to give. I asked if they started with a drawer with no cash and was told yes. Then I asked what would happen if I had cash and needed change then, then they said they have cash but not big bills only 1 and 5. I then said I only wanted 10 back which is 2 5's and was told no, even though the machine gave me the option which means the drawer had cash back or else it would not have been an option. I asked if I could go to one of the other cashiers that had cash and was told no, the other girl wanted to cash out so that wasn't an option. Trust me the litchfield dollar general is a way nicer store and has more items and is clean, this...

Employees are great besides this one so called manager.. very prestigious towards any younger crowd. In his eyes if one person or group does something then they all do. He doesn't get facts he is just quick to call cops (on parents and grandparents) and children right after asking them to leave with no reason or excuse. Very rude as well. I can't believe his bosses allow this behavior to go on. It has to be bad on business. Other then him I think it is a very nice store and great additive to a small country town.. just sad children can't either wait for parents where they are safe instead of on side of main street or go in and get a drink and snack. The manager of this store is rude,calls teens hoodlums, thieves, punks, stops them from entering the door ,refuses to let them purchase drinks or snacks...Also yells at customers for ringing the bell at cash register for interrupting him,...this store is directly across from the high school, and these kids are not able to enter this store without being bullied by this man...I myself will never return to this store being treated so badly and disrespected and my child being treated like a criminal for trying to buy a drink....what kind of people do you want representing...
