I have become soo disappointed shopping here these days. If I need to buy work supplies, like tools they are locked up behind a glass case. When I go to buy hygiene supplies for my wife, I have to track an employee down to open a glass case, then they rush me to make a decision before I can read the label on the products to get the right item. It makes me feel uncomfortable & stressed out having to wait to see products, then make fast choices. When I get a day off from work & want to go fishing I used to be able to swing by here to grab some supplies, quickly. Now trying to find an employee to open a glass case to allow me to purchase fishing line or even hooks has become a completely horrible experience. I understand it is not the employees fault things are behind glass, but shopping here has become no fun & takes soo much extra time out of my life it is absolutely unsatisfactory. I do want to clarify I am not bashing the employees in particular because they try their best to stay cheerful, while dealing with us stressed out customers who have been waiting & looking for help to get our shopping done. I do understand this business wants to control theft, but this is not beneficial to our mental health & I will shop anywhere else to avoid this store, unfortunately we are limited in options here in the East Bay. It is a shame we have lost the amazing shopping experience that once was the...
Read moreI enjoy this Walmart it’s convenient to get to. Big parking lot and wide doors to come in/ out with your cart. I go here on my days off when it’s less busy in the daytime around noon. I really enjoy the clearance section upstairs I always find household items. I enjoy the candle section too. It’s very put together here to find what you need from towels, hardware, food, personal items it’s all well stocked. Not sure if they have high theft but the front door staff before you leave seem to be itching to talk shit if you tried to steal. Or maybe it’s being African American and they see snatch n grabs on tv so we’re all suspicious suspects. Damm shame because thieves come in every race, age, gender. DONT bother going to the electronic department the young man that was there could care less about helping you with anything he’s just there. I needed help with a ONN brand soundbar tried to ask for help he ditched me to help some random customer SHADY POOR SERVICE!!!! I also wanted to purchase a 65” television but since he didn’t give a damm. I changed my mind $300.00 sale out the window not a care in the world. I was treating myself too👎🏾👎🏾 And you wonder why people have things delivered because of the reasons I stated above. This will not stop me from shopping here I just know not to go to certain areas for...
Read moreI get that it’s a Walmart, I don’t expect to be treated like I’m at Target when I ask an employee for help or have a question. But holy hell this place is awful.
I found a sewing machine with a badly damaged box, no bar code because it was so ripped up. I asked if they did: open box deals, since it was obvious that there might be missing parts that had fallen out, or it could have been damaged due to being exposed. Or If they would price match the make and model to one I found ON THE WALMART WEBSITE at a lower price than the standard price because it was also an open box deal.
I ended up standing at the register at 10 pm for 45 minutes while 6 different employees went back and forth telling me that they “Couldn’t sell me the machine I wanted at the price of a totally different model” (which I NEVER asked them to do? Whatever. I wanted to go home at that point. The cashier had me go to a different register because she had decided to close her register while the other employees were having a collective melt down. Due to moving, I ended up forgetting some items at the previous register.
When I got home, I realized they scanned the 3 yards of fabric I got twice. I’m counting it as a loss since I’m not willing to go back to try to get a return for an item they didn’t actually sell me and just...
