I recently had a very disappointing experience at this Walmart location. While the staff members were polite and did their best, the overall management and store policies were deeply flawed and frustrating. We purchased RV batteries at the last minute, only to realize they were the wrong size. The return policy stated we had 30 days to return the items, but when we tried to return them, we were met with resistance. The store attempted to enforce an unwritten rule about not accepting returns if the battery is functional, which was not displayed at the time of purchase. This inconsistency is unacceptable. Customers deserve to know policies upfront, not after the purchase when trying to make a return. To add to the frustration, when I asked to speak with management, they refused, and calls to the corporate office only yielded promises to look into the issue without immediate resolution. Walmart should ensure their return policies are transparent and train their management teams to handle these situations with more professionalism. It's unfair to customers to be told one thing and then face a completely different situation when they try to follow through. This experience has definitely left me questioning future purchases at Walmart.

I usually enjoy shopping at Walmart for the convenience and ease of finding everything in one location at fair prices. Now the only thing I would strongly advise against is buying car batteries here. I ordered mine for pickup online and it was a pain trying to get my core redund back because the online receipt barcode was not the same as their in store barcode so I had to talk to customer service for about 30 min to get my core redund back. Less than a year later I tried to exchange the less than a year old battery for new ones under their warranty policy and again the manager said she could not do it because the barcode for the online receipt was not eligible in store so I called customer service and was on the phone for almost an hour trying to exchange my batteries and they told me to call everstart (battery company) to have them setup a replacement. When I call everstart they tell me walmart owns their company and they have to exchange them in store. I went back in store and all they told me was no nothing can be done and customer care also did not help me at all so I junked 2 brand new batteries and went to buy them at costco instead. What a nightmare.

This is the worst Walmart I've been to. A lot of merchandise is locked up behind glass, and there were hardly any employees to be found to assist in opening the cabinets. I got an instant headache from the fluorescent lighting. Items on the shelves were a mess, and many shelves were almost empty. There didn't seem to be any sense to the organization of merchandise... I came to buy bedding, and ended up finding pillows in about three separate places around the store. If it's your only option, it's definitely better than nothing, but I'm going to try any other store before this one, next time. *All that said, the employees I did eventually find to assist me were very kind and helpful.

I have become soo disappointed shopping here these days. If I need to buy work supplies, like tools they are locked up behind a glass case. When I go to buy hygiene supplies for my wife, I have to track an employee down to open a glass case, then they rush me to make a decision before I can read the label on the products to get the right item. It makes me feel uncomfortable & stressed out having to wait to see products, then make fast choices. When I get a day off from work & want to go fishing I used to be able to swing by here to grab some supplies, quickly. Now trying to find an employee to open a glass case to allow me to purchase fishing line or even hooks has become a completely horrible experience. I understand it is not the employees fault things are behind glass, but shopping here has become no fun & takes soo much extra time out of my life it is absolutely unsatisfactory. I do want to clarify I am not bashing the employees in particular because they try their best to stay cheerful, while dealing with us stressed out customers who have been waiting & looking for help to get our shopping done. I do understand this business wants to control theft, but this is not beneficial to our mental health & I will shop anywhere else to avoid this store, unfortunately we are limited in options here in the East Bay. It is a shame we have lost the amazing shopping experience that once was the...

I enjoy this Walmart it’s convenient to get to. Big parking lot and wide doors to come in/ out with your cart. I go here on my days off when it’s less busy in the daytime around noon. I really enjoy the clearance section upstairs I always find household items. I enjoy the candle section too. It’s very put together here to find what you need from towels, hardware, food, personal items it’s all well stocked. Not sure if they have high theft but the front door staff before you leave seem to be itching to talk shit if you tried to steal. Or maybe it’s being African American and they see snatch n grabs on tv so we’re all suspicious suspects. Damm shame because thieves come in every race, age, gender. DONT bother going to the electronic department the young man that was there could care less about helping you with anything he’s just there. I needed help with a ONN brand soundbar tried to ask for help he ditched me to help some random customer SHADY POOR SERVICE!!!! I also wanted to purchase a 65” television but since he didn’t give a damm. I changed my mind $300.00 sale out the window not a care in the world. I was treating myself too👎🏾👎🏾 And you wonder why people have things delivered because of the reasons I stated above. This will not stop me from shopping here I just know not to go to certain areas for...

I get that it’s a Walmart, I don’t expect to be treated like I’m at Target when I ask an employee for help or have a question. But holy hell this place is awful.

I found a sewing machine with a badly damaged box, no bar code because it was so ripped up. I asked if they did: open box deals, since it was obvious that there might be missing parts that had fallen out, or it could have been damaged due to being exposed. Or If they would price match the make and model to one I found ON THE WALMART WEBSITE at a lower price than the standard price because it was also an open box deal.

I ended up standing at the register at 10 pm for 45 minutes while 6 different employees went back and forth telling me that they “Couldn’t sell me the machine I wanted at the price of a totally different model” (which I NEVER asked them to do? Whatever. I wanted to go home at that point. The cashier had me go to a different register because she had decided to close her register while the other employees were having a collective melt down. Due to moving, I ended up forgetting some items at the previous register.

When I got home, I realized they scanned the 3 yards of fabric I got twice. I’m counting it as a loss since I’m not willing to go back to try to get a return for an item they didn’t actually sell me and just...
