IHOP — Restaurant in Richmond

Me and my husband wanted to spend some time with my mother in law she said she wanted pancakes so we decided to go to this I hop.we order our food everything was good.at the last minute my son changed his mind and decided to get pancakes I went to the front and asked her nicely can I change the order she said yes.she brought our order We started having our breakfast when we asked her for napkins that she had forgotten to put on our table I asked her for 2 kids shakes to take home she took couple of minutes to get us the napkins we finish eating and ask her for the check she brought it right away we paid and ask for the shake she said it will be coming shortly we waited around for 35 mins for this shakes.never came asked her again and she ignored us and started talking shit about us to her co workers. I now this cause I saw her and some people we know that work there told me she was bothered with our table she starded slamming the microwave talking to her self never brought us the shakes we had other 2 waiters that came and asked us what did we order. We said 2 shakes. I asked to talk to the manager he was nice and apologize to us and said he was going to talk to her.i think she had attitude problems and was rude disrespectful at the end she never brought our shakes some one else did and to think we waited because our kids really wanted this shakes and we had paid for it already and actually had tip her with $5 when she deserved not even a penny I forgot her name but she was white with golden hair skinny serving the tables close to the bathroom my mother in law was so upset she said we will never be coming here again she was one of the worst waiters ever not coming back I don't...

I haven't been to a IHOP in quite awhile but I had always been impressed and satisfied with my experience... Not so this time! I had little time before my duty shift so I stopped by the Richmond Hilltop restaurant. I stood at the entrance for 6 minutes until someone showed up to seat me.. there were approx 3 customers in the restaurant so it wasn't because they were busy. I was seated and waited another 12 minutes before anyone brought me a menu, then another 10 before I ordered. You get the picture. I ordered the breakfast with smoked sausage links but what arrived looked and tasted suspiciously like a hot dog .. not what I expected. And no offer of a coffee refill. When my check came my order which was advertised as $17.99 ended up being almost $25. I would have happily paid that had the meal and service been worth it but I walked away feeling like I had been ripped off and swearing that I would never visit that IHOP again! This is the second time I’ve gotten sick from eating here. I ordered a T-bone steak, eggs and hashbrowns. The gentleman in front of me had a similar order and had to ask for his steak to be remade 3 times! Eventually, the last one came out so raw he said he’d just take it home and cook it himself. My steak was ordered medium rare and was cooked very uneven, raw in some places and well done in others. Additionally, the hash browns were raw when I asked for crispy and eventually I just asked to have them replaced with an English muffin. I was immediately sick to my stomach when I left and had to rush to a restroom.

Will not be eating here again unfortunately. While I know ihop is a Franchise chain and not all of their locations are like this. This is by far the worst I’ve been to. The service staff however were great. He was very understanding with the customer’s complaints and did what he could to...
