I have used Antine Landscaping for the past 21 years I have been living in my home. We had such poor water drainage in our backyard that it was virtually unusable after rainfall. Then we had such a damp basement and constant flooding during extremely heavy rainfalls such as hurricane season. We reviewed a few contractors but Joe guaranteed his work and true to his word our home is a much dryer place. I wish I could show you pictures of the before because the transformation is completely beyond words. We have plumbing in our backyard that now captures all the water that falls on our property and takes it away from the house. We used to have rainfall from our neighbors yard behind us that would create a waterfall over our stone wall and Joe fixed that problem along with the water that would seep into our basement. Oh and before I forget, Joe also transformed the front of our house matching the stone work in the backyard making a harmonious landscape throughout the property. 5 Stars is not enough for Antine Landscaping. If you want a professional, quality contractor that takes pride in their craftmanship than this is the contractor for you. Over the years that Joe's team has been to my home the same workers are with him which says a lot about how he treats his employees and their skill. Price wise Antine Landscaping is not the cheapest but neither was he the most expensive and I felt I got my money's worth and I know the work will last the test of time. I've added some photos of the waterfall and what it looks like as of 3/2021 can't find the beautiful spring photos but hopefully you get a sense of the work that was done. The only missing piece is the before, the place was a dump, old and run down, but now our outdoor living space is usable and enjoyable and a fitting extension of our home. We had water coming inside our basement and we had called several basement contractors to review the problem and suggest a suitable solution to resolve the issue. Out of 5 contractors, Joe Antine was the only one who was able to pin-point the root cause of the issue. He suggested that it is important to identify the source of the water coming inside the basement. After reviewing, he advised me to run the water hose into the leaders (from gutters) into the drain pipe that was adjacent to the basement wall from the exterior. Upon on doing so, it was confirmed that the root cause was indeed the drain pipe, which was disconnected from inside the ground and thus the water was coming into the basement as it had no way but to get into the basement. Joe's team did a great job installing a new drain pipe, connecting them to several Leaders using clean-out connections. Cost saving was also an important factor in getting this job done right. Highly recommended! This is by far the best experience I’ve had with a landscape contractor. Joe and his crew did a great job of transforming my drab backyard into a beautiful space that I will enjoy for years to come. It started at his first visit when he revised my draft plans and came up with a better layout. Then he improved my drainage issues to keep storm water away from my house foundation. His crew was hard working and very respectful of my property and Joe was sooo easy to work with. I’ll be the first to admit that I can be picky and when I asked for changes, Joe never argued or challenged my requests, he just asked a few questions so he understood what I wanted and then did them.
