Oliver Kitchen & Baths, Inc. — Local services in Ridgeland

Oliver Kitchen and Bath has been delivering and installing incorrect, damaged, poor quality kitchen drawers, drawer fronts, cabinets and doors in our kitchen for more than a year. Last May they claimed that someone, prior to our closing on the house, had 'signed off on the kitchen'. We have more than a dozen (actual count) mismatched, ill-prepared/painted door and drawer fronts that have been brought to our home as 'replacements.' In some cases the new ones were worse than what we already had, and we had to re-order. Mr. Oliver himself came to our home and promised to make things right, but three attempts since then and we still do not have a satisfactory kitchen. He made comments like 'that was never on the work order' and then, while showing me the paperwork, discovered that items in question HAD been listed but never ordered by his company. The latest was a contractor (nice guy) who came to adjust a drawer that was determined to be defective manufacturing 3 months ago. Mr. Oliver said 'that wasn't on the notes' but I pointed out that his work tech had taken photographs showing the damage/defect back then, and that I had a date and time stamped image that my phone showed was delivered to both me and the company.

During our last call I said that it was obvious he was not 'up' on our situation and I asked him to 'read over the paperwork, going back to May 2022, and then call me back once you are familiar with our ongoing situation.'

Anyone can make mistakes, and service recovery can even overcome initial disappointment, but at this point I can demonstrate that the owner of the company either was unaware of the situation and spoke out of turn, or was being disingenuous. When it happens multiple times I can only conclude that either he does not know what his own company is doing, or he does not care enough to ensure quality control and customer...

Extremely pleasant experience with this company from start to finish! Had to file a manufacturer warranty claim on some kitchen cabinets installed in my newer home. From my first phone call with Mackenzie to the inspection, then to the R and R by Crystal and Robert I couldn’t have had a better experience! I’m extremely OCD and everything was handled with care and precision! From the time of my first phone call to replacement was around 2 weeks! Waited almost 6 months for one cabinet. The first cabinet they delivered was the wrong size (they ordered incorrectly), we waited a further 8 weeks for the 2nd cabinet. Upon installation both shelves were damaged; they came out several weeks later and replaced one shelf, and then a further 3 weeks later, to replace the 2nd shelf.
