I have never left a bad review in my life but if zero stars was an option, that is what I would have chose. We were having problems with our router for weeks and after finally calling for support, I was told nothing but “everything looks fine on our end”. I was told to call back when the internet was out again, but decided to cancel my plan and go with a new provider. I was promised the service would continue until the end of the billing cycle, and of course it was shut off the next day. They told me a ticket was submitted and said to call back at 6pm if it was not working again. I called, as it was still not working, and the lady says that everyone in tier 2 who would be able to handle my issue has went home for the day and to call back in the morning. I am currently paying for internet that they decided to shut off early due to poor communication. I am losing money and work time. I’ve had service through kinetic for just 3 months before everything turned into a dumpster fire. If you’re deciding on a provider, I would recommend...
Read moreI don't have kinetic internet, but I'm not too impressed that the installation guy let himself into my basement without asking my permission while installing my neighbors service. I was completely caught off guard when I was walking my dog and saw my belco doors to the basement open and heard drilling. I said hello a few times before he came over to the steps. I asked if he was installing the internet for my neighbor and told him that he was in the wrong basement. I live in a triplex, and they have their own belco doors to their basement. He was aware because he had already been in their's and wasn't able to run the line through it. He knew it was not their basement, but yet he never knocked on my door to talk to me or ask my permission to enter my basement. I found this to be extremely rude and very unprofessional! All while leaving those doors open during the entire installation, allowing the cold air to come up into my apartment when it is 15...
Read moreThey start off amazing with good connection and price is really good. But the longer u r with them the worst the service gets with constant outages n slow load speed. But my biggest complaint is the price! They start u off at $57 but then they use the explanation of "price per kilowat (or whatever it is) has increased" so by the end of a year I went from $57 to $107. I called and complained n they lowered it to $76 but then it slowly started to raise again. When I finally had enough n switched to t-mobile (amazing) n called to cancel my service she then tells me she can give me a price cut to $45. I told her no thank u bc that $45 will creep up to $90+ within months. It's good internet but not worth the price they end up...
