Walmart in Rindge NH is the closest Walmart to my home. It is a smaller walmart compared to the Gardner MA store but I usually like the smaller store. It is easier to find things, making the shopping experience swift considering we all have busy lives. I understand that the world is going through a pandemic and thankfully this Walmart keeps the store clean and takes appropriate action to keep the public safe. I am sure all the staff are overworked and maybe stressed. But I noticed TWICE that a male staff member on the floor and a young woman manager at the service desk decided, instead of takeing the time to help me find a particular item I received this reaction: the cold shoulder response of "I can't be bothered attitude". The man running around the store I stopped to ask "can you tell me where i can find the walmart gift cards? No direct eye contact. He says as he busily walks buy" check by the registers they should be there ". I did that diligently. No luck. I returned to the blond girl at the service desk, where I JUST loaded my own walmart bank card, and asked her the same. She says quickly (clearly too busy to stop to help) and said the same "they should be by registers. Yes she was polite, & I said thank you. AGAIN, no luck. I had to ask a customer. They showed me all the gift cards are right there next to the service desk. I responded to the customer " thank you, you were more helpful than the staff here". I went back to the young lady at the service desk and said "by the way, the gift cards are right here next to you, therefore if another customer asks you this question remember they are RIGHT here!". I've worked in customer service many times. NO matter what, staff NEED to STOP and literally take the time, with eye contact, with a interested, caring, helpful attitude. I was so disappointed. I might just go back to shopping at the Gardner...
Read moreIt felt like my 1st time at this Walmart as it has been about a decade. Unfortunately I was in a time crunch so I wasn't able to spend hrs searching out deals. I will say where cat food is still hard to get, the prices here are among the lowest for wet food. FF petite are $1.09 everywhere, here they are $0.98! Sheba trout in gravy is about impossible to find! It's here & plenty of it also under a buck!!Dry food was very limited. I needed instant cappuccino & at that hr I had no where else to go. I was forced to make a purchase that otherwise never would have. I paid $5.00 for the sm maxwell house cappuccino. On the other hand honey Graham crackers are a great deal at $1.98. Hannaford in Keene Graham crackers were $1.67/box then shot up to almost $3/box. For all cat parents, I try diff litter box scent boosters regularly & review them for other apps. I found a brand of crystals, lavender booster $5.12. Lavender is the only scent my owners allow!! It is great. Label states 1/2 cap full on top of litter. I found its so strong that I use maybe 1/8 carefully. This also allows me to add more for a burst of freshness in...
Read moreGood old Walmart.. Has everything, including food, now.. A nice electronics section , with reasonably priced items , from tv's to tablets to cell phones.. The clothes used to be all cotton which I like because I'm sensitive to polyester .. But lately they've had less of that, and more mixed fabrics , in their clothing dept.. I hope that doesn't last.. But that's just me.. Otherwise they've got a great selection of nice clothing, and some real discount sales sometimes.. They also have a nice crafting and stationary area sewing, school supplies, office necessities, and toys ranging from Barbie dolls to bicycles .. Nice jewelry section as well, watches , kids jewelry, lovely crystal necklaces and chains.. Which I love.. And a nice purse and wallet section right nearby.. The Keene store is nicer , for some reason.. Bigger , and seems to have more of the nice stuff.. But they all pretty much have it all , shampoos , beauty products, pharmaceutical products.. And a...
