Cut Loose Salon — Local services in Ringwood

Just got in on a last minute appointment for a hair cut that had gone wrong and I needed someone who could make sense of the going from long hair to short hair look I was going for, I am very picky. After two attempts at a shorter cut elsewhere, I decided to try Jamie out at Cut Loose Salon and I am so gitty with the results I can't stop touching my hair and staring at it in the mirror! Jamie is amazing! She has the best personality, warm and friendly, listened to my hair frustrations and description of the look I was going for, described back to me what she heard my description was and explained exactly what she was going to do to get the look I was asking for before she started cutting. The minute she started cutting, I knew this girl knew exactly what she was doing! Best experience I have ever had. I wasn't originally going to switch to a new colorest, because I am happy with my color that was hard to achieve at another salon. You know..."the perfect copper-orange-red"...but after this cut and overall experience...Jamie will be doing my color in a few days and I am super excited to see what she comes up with!!! Oh...and it's worth mentioning, one of the reasons I loved It here was because it was a very clean, updated atmosphere, with easy going genuine conversation and NO catty gossiping! I loath salons that are non stop heated with over opinionated, immature & mean spirited gossip. She never once even gave me a strained look as I rambled on about my pickiness, lol! Bless her heart! I will update how the color goes in a few days, and even if it's not spot on (reds are tough to get just right) I know she will be receptive in tweaking it to get it just right....

Called this salon to inquire about getting my hair done. Spoke to Amanda (who has all five star reviews), told her a little about what I wanted done with my hair; she took a message and told me someone would call me back. I am assuming that would have been Brigitte. However since Amanda cuts hair don’t know why she couldn’t have set an appointment. Two days no returned phone call. Have never been to this salon. A side note, on their salon website they have a Maya Angelou quote “…people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Being a potential new client and not returning my call, leaves me feeling not welcomed and obviously they don’t want new business. My first visit today! I walked in and this beautiful place took my breath away. Everything is beautiful and very relaxing. I checked in with Bridget (the owner). I asked what services they provide and Bridget gave me brochures on all of their services. I then met Hannah, my stylist. Such a lovely lady. Very easy to chat with. We discussed my color and I went with Hannah’s recommendation and got a touch up and foils. Hannah was gentle and did a great job. I love my color! Hannah styled my hair exactly how I like it.
