Rusty Malt — Restaurant in Ringwood

We love this place! Good coffee and ice cream at reasonable prices, but my only complaint would be the drive thru. The last two times we went through the drive thru, no one was servicing us. We were waiting for 5 minutes. This was during broad daylight and I know they were open cause their light up open sign was on. I didn’t want to be annoying and knock on the window, so I just went inside. It wasn’t even busy both times. The last time I went there was one person in front of us, and two employees, so the other employee could’ve easily helped us. This time I went, no customers were inside and there were just two employees standing there. When I go inside, from the employees point of view, I noticed the drive thru window is high up, and sometimes it might be difficult to see if there’s a car there, but I noticed there’s also a tv with a camera pointing at the drive thru to see if cars are there. There’s got to be a better solution besides a camera, especially when it’s busy, the employees are not always going to be looking. You should get a bell for customers to ring for service or maybe a sensor that makes a sound when a car is at the drive thru. Like I said, I love this place, but please do something to improve your drive thru service! Otherwise, what is the point of having a drive thru if you’re not going to...

Came here once before and the experience was great. Took a friend here today after talking about how GREAT this place is to celebrate a work accomplishment.

When we asked about some of their currently featured items, the first girl looked at us like a deer in headlights and shrugged before getting another employee. The second girl leaned over the counter and squinted at the pictures and, after saying "they don't really tell us what's in them" she said "this one's probably this flavor and that one looks like it might be this....".

How did she plan on making it without knowing what was in it? How do you offer items that no one knows how to make?

So embarrassing for me having spent the afternoon telling my friend how amazing this place was, just to have a ridiculous experience! For the price they're charging, the staff should have SOME Idea of what...

I used to really enjoy going there but the teenagers have really ruined my experience there. Every time I go there, they lie about not having flavors and the owners don’t do anything about it. I went there a few days ago and asked for a chocolate chip shake and it appeared that way but at the bottom there was cookie dough pieces. What if I had been allergic? They simply don’t care. And this has not been the first time something like this has happened. We have been told at the drive through they don’t have a certain flavor that’s listed on the website so we went inside and it was in there. This place is awful!!!! And I will absolutely be telling everyone I know not...
