B&B Festus 8 Cinema — Local services in River View Township

Was recommended for a great movie experience, and this was our first time there. It's my son's birthday and I had 5 kiddos with me, not sure if that was the problem? We got there, I asked if we had to buy them online as that's what I was told, but the girl at the counter at the bar told me paying at the counter was fine. I told her what I needed, and she said okay, then told me she could not get those seats as they were already reserved due to me trying to pay online. So I said well it says it times out in a minute. She refreshed the page, still not available. She said, "Come back in 30 min, and we can try again." Okay, at 4 pm, we'd would try again. Kids start to get rowdy just waiting. It's 4 pm. I get in line. I get a different girl at the counter(by the pospcorn), and she says the spots are still unavailable. I said well it's been 30 min." The other girl said it only takes 30 min. That's when the popcorn counter tells me no, it can take up to an hour. This place, I assume, is good if you know what you're doing but not if it's your first time. I'm not sure if she was just annoyed with us, but her attitude and misguidance were not...

After last night I wouldnt even give them one star. We wanted to go to the movies as a family, with my 2 sons. We get there to be told we need to wear masks in which we replied that myself and my youngest son have medical notes because we CANNOT wear a mask due to a legitimate condition.. My wife and oldest were willing to wear theirs but simply put myself and my youngest couldn't. We were told we would not be allowed in and that they wouldn't accept our dr notes. But if we WANTED (like it's a choice for us to make that easily) to wear a mask thru the lobby (which only had 4 employees behind a counter 15ft away from where we stood) we would be allowed access to the theater. Coming from an employee that is also a science teacher at De Soto. So we cannot enter without a mask in an empty lobby but can enter the packed theater without one? Needless to say my youngest who is 8 took it personally and thought it was his fault we got kicked out, we told him he's not to make himself uncomfortable to appease someone else's feelings. Everything was great right up until I went to the bathroom, I know sounds weird but please listen as this is very important! PEEPING TOM HOLE!!! In the women’s restroom the last stall right across from the toilet is a perfectly circular hole in the wall. I got closer to inspect and found this very very strange and remembered before walking in I saw a few workers in a storage closet chatting away while grabbing things. I didn’t think anything of this till I saw the hole and it is right where that room is leading to! As I walked out the door was still open so I slowed down to take a peek. Sure enough you can see a break in the wall with nothing obstructing the view of it and a small light where the crack is, it was very obvious this hole was made from inside of the girls bathroom into that storage room. Please be cautious and aware this is the B and B theaters in Festus Mo. Be watchful and mindful, this could all be a misunderstanding but I did not want to risk the chance and I also plugged the hole with a tuft of a paper sticking out so it’s very visible to one who sees and no one can peek through...
