Update: I stopped by this evening for dinner. The server was kind, polite, friendly. Miles above the last visit. That was the best part. I ordered the turkey dinner. Three small slices of meat from a small anemic bird, two small mounds of "dressing" that was covered by the turkey, and gravy. A mound of "mashed potatoes" a small handful of what at one time might have been carrots. Two dry yeast rolls. The price has gone up, quality and quantity has gone down. If the meal I received was even a little close to the picture on the menu... I probably would not have written this. This will be the last time I go here. I couldn't believe the kept the old platters, but downsized the portions. Honestly, this is one of those corporate giants that if this is how they plan to go forward, won't be around much longer.
I think this will be the last visit here for quite a while! The service was very poor, the server couldn't smile for anything, she did not get the order right, couldn't have cared less. Had to get her attention 3 different times to get the order right, and get a drink refill. Ordered a steak med rare, was well done, the shimp that came with it were soggy, the baked potato was good, but had to ask 3 times for real butter. Rolls were cold. Went to the cashier to cash out, was asked if everything was okay, I replied, no, she said, sorry, and she finished cashing me out. I made the comment about the steak, as the manager walked by,... Nothing! Guess the have so much business they can afford to chase...

Bob Evans is a chain that has a remarkable reputation for casual dining. Although the menu items and layout of the store are similar at most locations, the service and quality of food vary greatly.
The 1 rating may advise others of the poor service and issues this store has. My hopes is that senior management recognize the disconnect and truly understand the needs of this location. It has a great location, menu and value oriented meals. The one thing that is obviously missing is accountability and managing the process and dining experience.
If this were my company, i would want to know now versus having to close this location due to lack of profitability. It has potential, but this location needs...
Read moreWanted to love this place. Maybe my expectations were too high. Started with the blue ribbon bacon, the picture looked so good, I couldn’t pass it up, but wish I had. The bacon is supposed to be glazed, which by definition the sauce should be cooked on the bacon so the sugars caramelize, becoming slightly sticky and adhere to the bacon. They just put the bacon in a bowl and poured A LOT of sauce on the bacon and served it. I could have got a spoon and ate the sauce as if it were soup. Then I got the honey butter chicken. It should be illegal to serve fried chicken that’s not crispy. Not even the edges were crispy. I didn’t like the dressing but there’s so many ways of making dressing, I can’t really fault them. It just wasn’t the type I like. The pancakes were ok, though not cooked long enough. It was still a little raw in the middle and was very gummy. The sausage links were rubbery, gross. Overall, completely dissatisfied with the food. Zero stars for the food. Two stars for the service. The waitstaff was very kind and did...
