United Auto Acceptance — Local services in Riverdale

This has to be the most unprofessional company there is. First person I'm going to start with is Cassandra, super rude, doesn't really know what's going on at all. But the two main people I would like to speak on today Is Mary Houston and John Dean. A little background of the case is we have a Mustang that was purchased through pars cars and financed through united auto. I was in a Collison where a Deer ran and struck the driver's side of my vehicle. I called the police filed a report and called my insurance company who was supposed to contact me. After almost 3 months of calling leaving voicemails and sending emails and adjuster was sent out 3 months later. The damages that were reported was a busted headlight, Bumper and dented driver door. During these 3 months of waiting, I had fixed almost everything headlights and bumper all out of my pocket. The adjuster comes out then nothing for another 3 weeks. Finally receives a call and united auto is talking about they are "deeming it a total loss" and need to pick the vehicle up and will be reselling it at an auction. Stated that they will give me about a week and will contact me before sending anyone out not even 24 hours they sent it out to be REPOSSED!!!!! I called the police, and they were unable to. Called MARY HOUSTON the next day no answer no call back. when finally speaking to her she acted clueless and transferred us to JOHN DEAN. I asked john was their calls recorded he said no, as the conversation went on, he got ruder and ruder. As an upset paying customer I began to get upset. Guys's this Manager or whomever he has Called me a Loud and Wrong B* and told me to Shut the F up then proceed to hang up in my face. I am completely disgusted by the experience. Thank the lord I'm able to get another car but I just feel as though Management should have to take some responsibility and accountability for the gross behavior. This is people's money and livelihood they are playing with.

So here's my story...I am a single mother who desperately needed a car. I went to PARS CARS in McDonough, I explained to the men there that I needed something dependable. I even asked the men not to take advantage of me because they see me as a vulnerable woman seeking a car. They assured me that the car I was purchasing was top of the line and one of the best on the lot. I signed the dotted line for a 2012 Toyota Avalon and for a relationship with a loan bank that would eventually become my worst nightmare. Not to mention, when it rains outside, ALLLLL of the water comes in through my sunroof and from under my dashboard area. Due to the water damage, my car has water stains everywhere and it smells like mold. My radio glitches at times, and all of the above. The alignment on my car is so messed up that when I need to come to a complete stop, my car violently shakes. My front passenger tire has popped on me twice, leaving me to ride with the spare left in the trunk at time of purchase which IS A WHOLE SIZE SMALLER THAN THE REST OF MY TIRES.....now...fast forward to December. I fell on hard times, got behind on payments, at first I had a woman who was actually pretty cool, and then she disappeared. Now I have some rude man named Allen. Allen not only talks to me like he sits high and looks low. Allen has also gone through my entire list of references, and speaks to them in such an unprofessional, distasteful manner. His exact words to some family and friends were, "It would BEHOOVE her to give me a call back before such and such time". Not only is this behavior unprofessional, it is absolutely disgusting and embarrassing to say the least. GOD SEES AND HEARS ALL...The fact that you all KNOW we are receiving LEMONS yet treating us as if you all are giving us top line vehicles is mind blowing. IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS BEFORE PURCHASING, I BEG YOU TO RUN AWAY FROM THEM AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN....They don't care if you are trying to make a way for you and your children. All they care about is RULING WITH FEAR and EMBARASSING YOU each...

I got my first car from Pars Cars in Morrow at the Southlake location in January 2024. I had a 2003 Buick Lesabre. They wanted me to get full coverage- even after I explained to them that the car was over 20 years old and that the insurance companies weren’t giving me prices for full coverage just liability. They did not care. Still had to pay CPI insurance through their finance company United Acceptance, and my own insurance. Which is ludicrous because if an accident ensues I can only file 1 claim which would be through the insurance company I picked, not the one they are robbing me to pay for. Fast forward to April 2025, 4 months left to pay off the car and it broke down at the front gate of my apartments.I go back to Pars Cars Douglasville, got a 2015 Honda Civic Ex. They make the contract and schedule the payments on the week I don’t get paid. They will not change the date, and every time I make a payment I get a different price, higher and higher. The paper work says I pay this and they come asking for way more than what’s clearly written on the paper work. This is probably one the biggest mistakes I have made, choosing to do business with them. They mark the prices up on the cars - hound you about giving them a good review before you leave. My car note is supposedly 295.50 every other week. It’s a lie. Been everything but that since signed that contract. There is no as little as $499 down you work, you ride.! It’s a lie! You will have to pay more than that, and you will have pick up payments that are 3x’s more than your car note for the 3 pick up payments. If you don’t get full coverage you’ll have to pay for 2 different insurances while only be able to legally file 1 claim. Run far and fast! Do not shop at pars cars. Save your money and go anywhere else but to a Pars Cars., and please don’t get financed through...
